Very disappointing- terrible value… so low quality!

Location

Incredibly poor value- especially during October off season in Arosa. The room was unattractive with worn out and outdated furniture, poor quality linens, 30year old decor, no amenities, cheap plastic flooring in the bathroom… the list could go on! The personnel were also entirely inadequate (poorly trained) and verging on rude- zero sense of hospitality or professionalism. It’s so disappointing to see how much this hotel has declined over the years. The restaurant was equally sub-standard with poor quality products (especially at breakfast!) and a mediocre wine list.

Becoming a place to go each summer in the Mountains for the rest of our lives

Perfect stay! The place is amazing, with very nice landscapes. All the staff, a family business, is very kind and polite. The room (for 4 people) was very clean and big. The bathroom was new and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing! local products and probably the best bread ever we have tasted. We when to the restaurant for lunch and dinner for a couple of days: all the dishes we tried were amazing, something really appreciated after a full day in the mountains. Very recommended!

Wonderful location and views!!

Location was perfect!! Beautiful mountains all around, pet friendly place, great views from the balcony and also delicious breakfast (breat from local bakery, etc.). Would stay a week if I could :). Hope to come back soon!

Peaceful retreat in the Suisse Mountains

The rooms were really nice and big, cute checkered duvet covers, lovely balcony with fantastic views. Just outside of the town to not feel busy and on top of everything. It's an easy walk in. Perfect if traveling with a dog as there is loads of walking on the doorstep - you can have a maximum of three with you and they do not charge for them. Breakfast was super with the freshest eggs you'll ever have. Dinner menu catered to everyone's needs. The staff and service was super for our one night stay.

Perfect! I was there with my son for a few days' skiing and it could not have been better.

We had a lovey spacious room at the back of the hotel, which overlooks the slopes so you can see the skiers coming past your window. The layout of the room was well thought out, with plenty of space to hang clothes and ski gear for instance, and plenty of shelving around the sink and bath for toiletries. It could not have been better located - you are straight on the slopes when you come out of the door, and just a few metres downhill to the regular ski bus to get into town, to the station etc. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful and speak great English too. The restaurant is fantastic, the best food we had during our stay. The terrace is a popular spot for lunch with skiers and locals. I am gluten free and they made sure that I was well catered for. There is a good choice at breakfast.

Nothing, it was all great. Do make sure to bring good walking boots with grip, as the hill down into town (there is a bus too) can be slippery in the snow. Note that there isn't a lounge to hang out if you are not skiing, though of course there is the restaurant area. There is a small day room which would be fine for kids to play cards or a board game but it's not somewhere you would sit and relax for long periods.

Scenic Inner Arosa view, squeakily clean rooms, astonishing food!

Rustic, eye-relaxing interior design. The staff speaks English and is very friendly and makes their best efforts to help. Exceptionally tasty food (make sure to reserve the dinner table 5-6 hours in advance, and maybe even more in winter).

Pillows are replaced with folded duvets which are uncomfortable

An enjoyable stay with basic facilities.

The hotel was peaceful, out of the centre of the village. The breakfast choice was good.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in the room despite being told there were. The en-suite bathroom was small - the washbasin was in the room itself and the bathroom door was made of transparent glass.

Lovely family run hotel located about a mile from the centre of Arosa. A comfortable room with balcony offering great views. Good range of options for eating and drinking both inside and out and friendly staff.

Outstanding ski in ski out hotel for father and son ski holiday

Erzhorn is THE perfect ski in and ski out hotel. Perfect for a father and son get away. After booking Marc and the team were highly responsive via email making trip planning really easy. On arrival car parking is at Erzhorn. The room was clean and had a nice balcony. Breakfast was superb; as was lunch and dinner in the hotel. Overall, an outstanding experience. beautiful setting - perfect for families with Kids

Right at the edge of town with cows grassing outside for a complete idyllic Swiss mountain experience. Breakfast was plenty and diverse.
