Everythiing was perfect!

This place is incredibly comfortable, spacious, and cozy, all while being affordable. During our trip to Luzern, Switzerland, we stayed here for three days. Silvia provided us with a comfortable bed and a welcoming space, as well as delicious breakfasts each morning. We had great conversations with Silvia about Switzerland and neighboring countries, and we were able to enjoy wonderful evenings with our traveling companions in the spacious and pleasant accommodations. Luzern is truly a beautiful and delightful city, and staying here made our memories of Luzern even more special.

There was truly nothing to be dissatisfied with. Although it is located near a station slightly farther from Luzern Station, the excellent Swiss train system makes it easy to reach in no time. I think it took about 8 minutes of walking, but the surrounding nature was beautiful, so it wasn’t much of an issue for me. However, this might vary depending on individual preferences.

I felt it is overpriced as it is not even proper hotel room with good breakfast nor service apartments with kitchen. So

It is a room in her home and maintained clean.

The train sound disturbs sleep. The breakfast is just bread butter and small quantity of fruits. Not many varieties.

Great value for money.

Great place in a quiet town just outside of Lucerne (about 5 minutes by car/train). There are also some good restaurants near by, and free parking at the B&B- so the location is really fantastic. Silvia is very kind and warm and she makes you feel welcomed. Overall a very good experience.

Very pretty home and Sylvia is very friendly and welcoming. Spacious area.

We were surprised it was near the train line but they didn’t keep us awake at all in the night. Other than that it was very quiet.

Great b&b

Silvya is a very nice person, very helpful and has a lot of tips for you. The b&b is a 10 minute walk from Mattenhof station, which gives you an 8 minute train ride to Luzern. The b&b is clean, nice, anything you need, a simple but good breakfast. Silvya is very talkative and always asks about your day and if you need anything. You also get your own key to the frontdoor.

A very warm welcoming house!

Silvia, the owner of the house greeted us very warmly. She is a nice lady that showed everything to use in the house. We were 3 pax, so she gave us 2 bedroom, which 1 was at the attic, but very pretty. We requested to have breakfast at 8am since we need to check out early and she prepared everything on her own. We have a nice chat during the breakfast. House was very near to railway, so if u are bothered by sound of it, this might not be the place for u. For us, it was fine and we slept thru the morning, no problem.

very cozy space. Silvia; the host was very accomodating and thoughtful. would love to stay there again when there is a chance. Location is like 8 to 10mins walk (with luggages) to the train stations (howr and kriens mattenhof).

better bring small luggages coz you need to go up the room by stairs. aside from that everything is perfect.

Breakfast was lovely, and the host was lovely too 🥰 we were doing a road trip, hence only stopping for one night. The part of the house where we stayed was lovely and clean, and very comfortable.

L'esmorzar estava molt bé, la mestressa de la casa ens va atendre amb amabilitat i vam poder deixar allí el cotxe. A més, la parada del tren era a 5 minuts i vam poder anar a Lucerna en transport públic còmodament.

Gerne wieder.

Die Besitzerin Silvia ist die gute Seele des Hauses. Sehr gutes Frühstück. Das Haus ist an guter Lage in einem ruhigen Quartier. Parkplatz vorhanden. Der Bahnhof liegt nur gute 5 Minuten zu Fuss vom Haus entfernt. Gratis WLAN.
