Spotless and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly

Couldn't fault. En suite room was spotless and comfortable and despite being above a bar there was no noise. Staff were friendly and helpful. You can park across the road in Morrisons, or like I did a couple of streets away outside the permit zone. Room only but there is a Spoons a few doors down if you want breakfast. Excellent base for a visit to Owlerton stadium or Hillsborough. Will definitely stay again next time I visit

If you’re looking for a traditional pub with a warm welcome then this is the place.

A friendly traditional old style pub. The staff were all friendly and the room was lovely and clean. Direct links by bus and tram from across the road to town. Dog friendly so we will definitely be back

No car park which I guess they get slated for all the time, however there is street parking if you don’t mind taking the chance of a spot being available.

Quiet comfortable room

Room had everything you need for a night stay, tea coffee etc. Although over a pub our room was very quiet which was lovely. Nice comfortable room. I would stay again if I'm coming to Sheffield for a concert.

Advert should say there are quiet a few stairs to the rooms. There isn't any private parking but, we managed to park outside on the street.

It was a good location and was very clean.

Too many stairs as I have mobility issues. We were put on the top floor. The price was a little high for what we got. Basically told what to do if we come back when pub was shut. Then to put key in door when we left. No further staff interaction.

No breakfast included. Local shops/facilities were good though. Plenty of space and nice bathroom.

Could have provided some handsoap. TV a little small as room quite large. Price a bit high for a single person.

The staff was very nice and helpful.

I had a very unsettling experience when someone knocked on my door around 4:00 in the early morning and attempted to open it. When I shouted at him, he ran away. Earlier that night, another man, who didn't have a room key, knocked on his door for a long time. I don't think I slept at all that night, as I felt it was very unsafe in the hotel.

Clean and comfortable resulting in a pleasant stay

I liked the friendliness of the staff and the customers alike. Being able to use the bar facilities was a bonus I’d not considered when I booked. Buying cool beer after a hot and busy day was very welcome.

Not keen on all the stairs as I had a lot of things to carry up them during my stay but they were manageable. Using the rear entrance when the pub was closed was easy enough without all my luggage. I had some manoeuvres to carry out when leaving though, so suggest travelling light 😉

One Night Stay

Room was spotless, modern bathroom. Beds really comfy, staff really friendly. We were attending the OEC for a tribute night location was fab round the corner. I didn't check about parking but managed to find a spot round the back

Couldn't open windows was really hot. I hadn't checked about a lift so my fault as my mum struggles with stairs but again not the hotels fault.

As I said earlier, it's not The Ritz but it was just what we wanted.

It was cheap, cheerful and perfect for us. Breakfast is not included but obviously we knew that beforehand so it wasn't an issue. Saturday early evening and until closing the pub below was very lively (rocking) but friendly and when we got into bed at 11 pm we could hardly hear anything

Nice enough for one night two night stay if passing through. No sleep tho if a karaoke night

Room was OK for an overnight stay. Shower/toilet room was clean and modern. Plenty of towels. Coffee/tea facilities in the room. TV on the wall. Comfy firm 3 single beds. Trams and public transport close by. Wetherspoons close by for breakfast. Friendly staff. Pub had a nice atmosphere.

Needed an early night for an early start. Did not appreciate that the pub below had karaoke until 1am. Very tired the next day as could hear everything. Then when I eventually fell off to sleep I could hear doors banging shut from the surrounding rooms.
