L'appartement est un peu vieillot et mériterait un rafraîchissement des 2 salles de bain. Point très embêtant : le fait de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres fermées à clé , donc impossibilité d'aérer 2 chambres et le salon ou de rafraîchir les pièces (Refus des propriétaires de nous donner la clé et conseil d'utiliser la climatisation centralisée qui ne fonctionnait pas avec la même intensité dans les chambres , certains avaient froid d’autres chaud..)

The size of the property was perfect for our family 4 people. The location was perfect for us.

The checkout time is a little early 11am. Appreciate you get more guests but if you have a late flight you have no choice to take luggage with you.

The apartment has a spacious living room/dining room combo and three good size bedrooms as described and were clean with comfortable beds and enough pillows and linens for the 6 guests. The kitchen was contemporary, with the appliances included as described in the ad. The building felt safe, the apartment was quiet and had a very nice big set of windows and doors looking out to the big commonly patio, shared by buildings around the block. The indoor temperature was very comfortable. The location was very convenient to the city-wide Metro system and to connections for travel outside of Barcelona.

The check-in caused some initial frustration and anxiety. Check-in was done by phone electronically, requiring each guest to individually sign-in via a link that did not work as initially sent. However, the assistance provided was amicable and responsive but caused us to have to wait around for coordination and communication. Once resolved, access was simple. The apartment did not feel welcoming; There were NO condiments, not even salt and pepper, nor sugar packets. NO small complementary soaps nor instructions for dishwasher or washing machine. It was bare-bones. The two bathrooms floors were not clean. There were dirt stains on the floor tile and ground-in dirt and stains in the grout. It felt dirty on your feet.

The location was perfect and convenient. Walking distance to nearby city centre and tourist spot. Bus stop right at the front entrance.

The air-conditioner was broken. Staying at Barcelona at over 30 deg with RH of over 75% without air-conditioner was really tough. All fans were not working properly. As some one from Hong Kong, I would never expect such property or apartment in city with similar weather would be allowed to rent without air conditioner. The owner offered the electronic entrance key via the website link which was not working reliably on iPhone. And when it's not working, we couldn't contact anyone off office hour by phone. I could only us Whatsapp messages and wait and wait for the response. It's frustrating standing at the front door and not allowed to enter the building and one could only hope response from owner via Whatsapp... The property was not as clean as I would expected too. The area were not very clean neither though that's not the owner's fault. The building was beautiful though.
