There was no table as on the picture of the booked room, the beds were very loud when turning, the layout was very weird, if someone is at the toilet you can see them through the glass by laying on the bed…

A charming hostel in a great location. Clean, simple facilities - and welcoming staff. Great location with mountain views from the balconies. Lovely common areas with nice views and places to sit and read. A lovely old building. A pleasant affordable place to stay.

Furnishings are very basic, but comfortable. Don’t let google maps send you up the very windy and entrance road (it defaulted to this for us), there is a much easier and more straightforward one as well!

Simple accomodation in the middle of great nature

Great location in the mountains. Hostel type room adequate for a one night sleep over. It was simple, but clean. Staff was relaxed and welcoming.

It was obviously a home for elderly people where one put as many (double)beds as possible to make kind of a hostel. Room for 4 was aporox. so big as the bathroom attached.

Nice host and good price

Very friendly host and interesting conversations. The plan was to stay for one night but they had so cute goats outside that our son just adored so we stayed a second night. If our Interrail pass had not expired soon and we needed to go back to Sweden we would have stayed another night. Churwalden has the longest rodelbahn in Switzerland. Don't miss that on your stay which is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation. I can also recommend a hike up on the mountain Fulenberg above the rodelbahn if you are trying out the rodelbahn and you will save your knees a little bit on the way down.

Eine nett bediente Wohlfühloase in einer tollen Bergwelt.

Ich war schon in vielen Hostels und für diesen Preis 88.- für zwei Personen hätten wir niemals eine so gute Ausstattung erwartet. Das Hotel wurde von einem jungen Geschwisterpaar übernommen, sie sind noch im Umbruch aber auf jedenfall lohnt sich ein Besuch. Wir haben direkt ein upgrate für ein viererzimmer inkl. Bad erhalten. Das Doppelbett war ultra bequem. Decken etwas elektrisch geladen aber das ist eine Kleinigkeit. Auch in der spontan gebuchten zweiten Nacht haben wir direkt für den gleichen Preis einen tollen Schlafplatz gekriegt. Das Haus ist nichtmehr das jüngste aber super süss ausgestattet und sie bieten alles was man braucht von gratis Handtücher über Haartrockner an der reception usw. Wir wurden bestens aufgenommen und bedient. Auch die einzelnen Räume sind mit viel liebe gehalten. Ich komme gerne wieder und empfehle, besucht das schöne Heim und unterstützt das junge Leitungsteam. :)
