We had a fabulous time at the property! Loved watching all the wildlife--humpback whales, sea lions, river otters, common murres, belted kingfishers and all the shorebirds. The perfect place to both rest and relax, and as a base to hike and explore. We hope to return!

Very clean house

Our family of 5 adults recently spent 4 nights at the 3 bdrm oceanfront house. The beauty of the location was remarkable, the house was gorgeous and the hot tub with a view to the ocean was an absolute treat.
There is a full, well stocked kitchen on the upper floor and a guest kitchen on the lower floor. Beds are comfortable, furniture comfortable.
The location is quiet and although you share beach access with the ppl in the houses next door, you have a lot of privacy. We loved the pugs Stanley and Bob who came to visit and the owner’s family who we ran into.
Our three complaints are: the windows that give you the spectacular views from the house to the ocean were dirty and coated with salt spray. Understandable but not acceptable when paying for daily cleaning fees and this is a main feature of the property. We eventually asked and received cleaning supplies and cleaned enough windows ourselves to suffice.
While the property is not billed as accessible, access into both showers/tubs is extremely difficult for anyone with mobility limitations due to the framed sliding glass doors. The rails on the tub and a really small access point meant an almost impossible ability to use for me. Also no grab bars at all on the main floor. When update your showers, I highly recommend replacing glass doors/railings with shower curtains and grab bars (an inexpensive solution!).
Finally, for some reason there is a 6-8inch opening above the outer wall of the bedrooms- no sound barrier to TV!

Everything is as per description. We enjoyed the hot tub and patio overlooking the ocean, beach access from property lawns, well stocked kitchen, and tastefully organized interiors. Nice, clean stay. Will come again.
Bbq , hot tub control panel and a few other appliances are a bit dated so a little hard to operate at first, but everything is functional for the most part and shouldn’t impact the experience .
