The Museum Apartments is in a very central location in the heart of Edinburgh and around the corner from the Royal Mile. The apartment was exceptionally clean and had all the amenities needed for us to feel comfortable. Communication with the management team was excellent - I had a few questions about appliances which were answered immediately.

Run like a hotel but with the feel of an apartment rental. This was the perfect stay. There was a ton of space, a laundry machine inside the apartment and the location was perfect!

Nice amenities, shower was super, kitchen very workable, super quiet building, neutral furnishings, spacious enough, nice high ceilings. Didn’t have pre warning about lots of stairs to get to unit, courtyard was lit up all nite and metal blinds let light in all nite. Sleep masks provided but I cannot wear them so had light in bedroom at nite. Had issue with heating, didn’t work properly but they eventually sent a tech over and issue got resolved after a cold day. The company was good in acknowledging this and made it right for us. I would stay there again without question,…knowing the company handled the heating issue well.

The apartment was so convenient and walkable to all the main sites. It was also quiet even though outside was very noisy during the festival. It was like a home away from home.

The location is so good for walking around Old Town. Bus stop right on Chambers Street. Right across the street from the museum. Grocery down the street and around the corner. Many, many pubs and restaurants near by. Small things like only 2 towels provided initially , walls that need repainted and blinds that are not room darkening were not a major issue for us. Excellent communication back and forth with site with any questions.

You absolutely cannot beat the area of this property. It’s so central to all the spots you want to visit in Old Town, and is only a 16 minute walk to New Town. One of the absolute best parts of this booking was the inclusion of laundry - we wouldn’t have made it through our vacation without it!

This is a wonderful place to stay! Located very close to all the must-see areas of Old Town and New Town, it’s walkability was amazing. The room was very clean, had all amenities we needed, and the communication with staff was quick and kind. Highly recommend this apartment if you’re staying in the heart of Edinburgh.

Location of this apartment is convenient, close to hop-on hop-off stops, but I would not rent this apartment again because it has no AC and windows overlook the roadway. If you decide to open windows to get fresh air you cannot sleep because of very loud noise from the street.

Excellent property in a perfect locale to see old Edinburgh. Although there is no onsite staff (they are apartments) checkin was smooth and any issues we had were addressed. Communication was via email and they were very helpful. No parking. No air conditioning.

Amazing location! Only a little disappointed that I booked a courtyard view apartment to only see another brick wall from the other building. I also had issues with delayed communication from the prop. The WiFi is non existent so don't plan to work or stream. Great recommendations though on what to see and do around the apartment.

These are beautiful, new, spacious, well located apartments and quiet. However wifi is atrocious. Spoke to the manager about resetting it, but still barely working. Would recommend staying here, however bring your own portable wifi!

Very spacious and airy, with huge, bright windows. Excellent appliances. Comfy bed in a nice little nook. We ate breakfast there with groceries bought from the “local”Saintsbury and cooked over the snazzy induction hob. Would have appreciated a more clear cut way to recycle, tho. Loved being right across the street from the Scottish National Museum and around the corner from lots of bars band restaurants. Fantastic location. Would definitely return!

This was a celebration visit for my wife in remission. Despite taking our money and emailing us, the night before we were due to fly, when I chased the entry details, we were told they had over booked us and had no rooms available. We had to chase around and find alternative 4 nights. We still await the refund and were offered no compensation. BEWARE!

The apartment was clean, well-supplied, and well laid out. We left a few suggestions, but, overall, the appliances, pots, pans, etc. helped us eat at home without any real problems. The management was responsive to the minor problems we notified them about. The location is excellent, within a five-minute walk of the Royal Mile, near the University, and close to lots of good restaurants, three grocery stores (Tesco, Sainsbury, and Lidl), and many Fringe venues. The only drawback is the 27 steps up to the apartments, so if you are older or with bad knees (we have both), it may be a bit challenging when you're tired. P.S. If you're American, like we are, you may need to experiment a bit with the switches in the kitchen to figure out how to turn the stove, lights, etc. on.

This was a very modern clean apartment in a very central location-- across from the museum, .It was fully furnished (exception no shampoo). The only problem is overnight parking is not available and our apartment was over a nightclub --so very loud music was playing into the early hours of the morning::( When I booked the apartment I assumed that it had the rules of a hotel. The rules here do not allow ANYONE except those renting from entering the building-- something I thought was ridiculous since our daughter was picking us up for dinner, etc.

My daughter and I loved our stay at Museum Apartments in Edinburgh. The central location in Old Town was close to everything, with theaters, museums, shops, and other major attractions all within easy walking distance. The unit was clean, bright, and comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the heated bathroom floor and towel rack. We would stay here again with pleasure.

As a single traveler I felt safe, the code entry was good. Also I was able to walk easily to sightsee. One problem in the bedroom, there was an air vent I think that let food smells in from somewhere. Opening the window helped get rid of it,

The setup was great, the kitchen had everything you need, heated floor in the bathroom was nice. It’s a close walk to all the major culture areas. The bar outside were a bit loud but pubs are everywhere in Scotland and they didn’t operate too late. The area was great to walk around and felt extremely safe. It’s a really well setup apartment and I would happily book it again for stays in Edinburgh.
