The apartment offers excellent service and is clean inside.
The property entrance is slightly difficult to access, and the three-floor spiral staircase can be challenging, especially with heavy bags. One drawback of the apartment is that you can not leave your bags for a limited time after checkout.

Big light and airy well equipped apartment. There was milk in the fridge, tea, coffee, salt.pepper etc. Comfortable beds and bedding. Great quiet location. Not far from royal mile and other attractions. John was very helpful and answered any queries very quickly. We would definitely stay here again
The three flights of stairs to the apartment with luggage was a little tricky but once we were in it was well worth it!

Excellent location. 10 minutes from the royal mile, 3 minutes from Holyrood distillery :) Plenty of restaurants, pubs and groceries within walking distance. The hosts were friendly, answered promptly, and provided some basics such as extra bedsheets and washing machine tablets. The apartment is centrally heated.
The beds are the narrowest possible definition of double beds, pun intended. A happily married couple can share such a bed. Two tall teenage brothers could not. To get to the apartment on the third floor there is a narrow spiral staircase. This is common to the entire area and not exclusive to this building, but lugging suitcases up and down was not fun. It is not well lit at night, so we had to use the phone torch.
