A cosy, spooky Halloween weekend

The check in process was very easy. We landed in Edinburgh really early but the host let us check-in early. The apartment was very cosy and spacious and spotless. There were six of us staying, the sofa bed that was already set up for us when we arrived was super comfortable. There were evens sweets left for us as it was Halloween! Would abdolutely stay here again.

Handy flat to explore Edinburgh

Perfect location to walk round the city centre.Quiet location, tucked away down a side road. Nicely renovated bathroom for an older property.

No free to air TV available, dishwasher out of use but neither really concerned us as only 2 night stay.

Exceptional location and exceptional host.

Fantastic location, mere minutes from the Royal Mile, about 15 mins from Edinburgh Castle. Comfortable home, comfortable double beds, including the sofabed in the lounge. Great service from the host, who left some tea, snacks and food for us. You can pay and display parking on St Mary’s St, or use NCP Hollyrood carpark - just 2 minutes’ walk away. Great value during the Fringe Festival. This was a cozy flat that really felt like a home - not some bare bones AirB&B place. I would definitely want to stay here again, if I have the chance. I also highly recommend the Edinburgh military tattoo at the castle, if you happen to be in town during the summer.

The walls between the rooms were not that soundproof, but this was ok for us.

For two night that we spent in Edinburgh with our family it was perfect and well sufficient. Clean, close to the centre

Great location, near the centre. Fully equipped apartment, with lots of additional bits and bobs to be used (sweets, hair straightener, curler, hygienic items for ladies, etc…) nice and clean.

Rubbish bins right outside of the window - poeple throwing out glass after 10pm (noisy). Heating in bathroom could not be turned off - upper floor hence really warm. Leftovers in the fridge - unfinished pesto, olives and other…

We loved our stay in Edinburgh. We were comfortable in this home in old town.

The apartment is located just off of Royal Mile. It made it easy for us to explore Edinburgh.

The towels could be upgraded. A shelf added in the bathroom would help so that you had a place to put your toiletries.

All the space and the location are fantastic! We were able to cook and relax while there and had great ease taking in all the sights too.

Not negatives but it was very warm with the heaters and not being able to open windows. We turned off the heaters and it was still pretty warm. But the weather was very fine too. Also the price. Much more than we would spend for 2 nights anywhere but with everything it came with its location, the price is what the old part of town allows.

great location, lovely flat

Location is brilliant, really central but wonderfully quiet. It's also spacious (we were three friends so two of us had a bed room each and the couch in the lounge was third, all comfortable). Tea, coffee, toiletries and water bottles available - we didn't need much of these but would be a nice touch for people arriving from further away/abroad.

the entry / key details only arrived in my email inbox relatively late so I missed them and panicked; however, D. was available by phone and it all got sorted. Don't be put off by the entry door area seeming run down, the flat itself is lovely and feels safe and comfortable;

Location was just off Royal Mile - it was quiet, but with restaurants and cafes just around the corner.

TV was only for streaming - it didn't have BBC or ITV etc.

Huge apartment in amazing location.

Huge apartment in an amazing location. Easy walk from the train station and just off the Royal Mile. It’s an old apartment but very homely and well prepared. You feel like a guest and not just a customer. Little things like tea, coffee and cereal as well as enough laundry liquid and toilet paper are appreciated. Will stay again.

Un lugar perfecto para conocer Edimburgo, cerca de todo y muy acogedor.

La localización es muy buena a 2 minutos de la Royal Mile, y cerca de los principales puntos de interés turístico. El anfitrión fue muy amable y nos posibilitó dejar nuestro equipaje antes de la hora de entrada. Hay cerca supermercados y multitud de sitios donde poder comer algo.

La zona común del edificio un poco descuidada. Al tratarse de un edificio antiguo con tarimas, al andar en alguna zona cruje ( pero entiendo que es normal)

Prima locatie om met een gezin te verblijven voor een bezoek aan Edinburgh.

Centraal gelegen, Royal Mile en leuke pubs op 1 minuut lopen.

Bij binnenkomst stond de verwarming erg hoog, die hebben we na wat zoeken lager gekregen.
