Well located near bus stops which are free once you get the email on check in. Room is basic with decent sized bathroom. Breakfast is continental but set you up for the day. Room needed decorating.. lot of scuff marks and didnt like that the bed was two singles pushed together! Staff all very friendly

We loved our stay in Salzburg. The area was walkable and the hotel is near two delicious bakeries! We were grateful for the front desk staff and their kindness. They helped us with the public transportation which was wonderful.

Excellent room. Great breakfast…. Only thing is they wanted cash for the city tax. I walked all over the are looking for an ATM. NOPE! found one. Didn’t recognize my card! Uffff … they finally accepted debit card for city tax upon checkout… but I was t going to pay 25€ in Ubers to get 3,50€ in cash!

The place is very basic if you get a family room. We found it to be acceptable for a one night stop, but the family room 1 had much to be desired. Paint chips are falling off the walls, 2 of the walls in our bedroom look like someone had opened a coke can and sprayed them and it lacked hanging space for coats; it did have some but very limited. Breakfast was ok, but again very basic. Overall, if you are just looking for a place to lay your head for a night it's good. One positive is nearby service and public transportation into the center of Salzbur.

Everything was fine, the room was clean, spacious, friendly helpful staff. The only thing that the drain in the bathroom was a little slow, but we only stayed one night so didn’t impact us that much.

I think they’re remodeling the hotel, the elevator does not go to the family rooms so you must walk up a couple long flights of stairs and also to get to the elevator you have to walk down and up stairs. The restaurant was closed. It’s an OK place to stay for the price we needed an inexpensive place to stay, and we were not disappointed a bit dirty and grungy we bought heaters because the room was cold and we froze the first night.

What we did not like: There was a smell in the bathroom coming probably from the drain of the shower. It was an open shower with no door. There was no coffee or even a kettle so we can make our own in the morning.

Friendly staffs and speedy check in and out. The room is spacious and fan was provided during our stay. Its clean and very quiet surrounding. Theres a laundrymart just less than 10mins away from hotel. Opposite the hotel is a bakery and another bakery on the left of hotel. Trasport to most places were assessible. Theres also a supermarket just few mins away from the hotel.

We were happy with our stay there. The hotel is comfortable and clean, the rooms are basic but the bathrooms had modern showers and basins. If you are travelling in August as we were be prepared as not all rooms have air conditioning. The windows open and there is a fan provided. This was fine for us.

Had a great stay at this hotel! Rooms were spacious and clean. We had a nice table with chairs in the room. No AC but with the window at night it was comfortable. Nice beer garden behind the property with good food and atmosphere. Front desk staff were nice and accommodating. Parking was reasonable and easy. Only complaint is the water temperature was all over the place . Sometimes would get hot water, other times cold. Would definitely recommend to stay however and had a lovely 4 night stay.

The second stay during my Summer travel/ journey. Room was once again clean, staff helpful and definitely deserve an extra plus - needed some extra help which was no problem at all. Breakfast was small but yet had everything required for a good, fresh start in the morning. Nothing negative to comment, as in earlier mentioned review - top score would be if there was for example a mini fridge and air conditioning in the room instead of a regular (yet good) fan on the floor. Felt safe to be able to park my car in an area behind the hotel not available for other than hotel guests.

First stay during our Summer travel/ journey. A clean room with good space and comfortable beds - maybe a little to soft pillows. Great staff and a secure place to park our car only available for the guests. 20-25 minute walk away from Salzburgs center/ old town, a perfect distance and easy to navigate there. Breakfast simple with all needed for the guests - my girlfriend had an additional request and it was positively handled, again great staff.. For a top score - would need for example a mini fridge and air conditioning in the room instead of a regular (yet good) fan on the floor.

Lovely hotel a few bus stops from the station...Bus no 2. walkable, laundromat within walking distance and close enough to the river to walk along it in the evenings. Hotel room was great, clean and airy. Definitely recommend. We actually stayed for 3 extra nights and booked through the Salzburg Tourism board which included a 3 day Salzburg Card which allows free transportation on all trams, buses and regional trains and free entry to most museums, the furnicular, cable car to the Unterberg Mountain peak...and absolute must and was a great affordable way to see his beautiful city.

The hotel is an old building and as such kind of quirky(stairways and halls). Our room was quite large, and clean, with a modern bathroom. There is no air conditioning, just a fan in room , so in mid summer it may be hot, and we heard a lot of traffic noise as we had the windows open. Breakfast was typical continental, cereal pastries, bread meat and cheese. Parking is 15 euros per night extra. The immediate neighborhood was a little run down, but the good thing is that it is in decent walking distance to the central tourist things.

Just a nice overnight stay in Salzburg to see the city. Great location, easy walking to the historic district where we partook in a beer festival did a tour of the palace. Great time. Hotel has excellent service with large rooms and a great breakfast. Good price as well.

The stay was okay, people are really kind and the room was good. But the hotel is too far from the city centre. In addition, I suggest to improve your breakfast adding some cakes or other sweet food because there are none. It’s better to have the air conditioning too.

My wife and I stayed three nights. A comfortable hotel, reasonably located for sight seeing, and on a bus route. The window construction does reduce traffic noise, and although no A/C, does have fans. Breakfast was fairly basic for the fee charged. The reception is not manned after 6pm, and there is a late check in system. We arrived at Salzburg airport at 8pm, and there were no taxis!! Not many flights arrive mid/late evening, so taxi drivers do not frequent the airport regularly. There is a No 2 bus from the airport that passes the hotel about every 20 mins but you need small change to use the ticket machine. The bus driver would not let us pay on the bus. So we waited with another couple for a taxi, which did eventually arrive!! The hotel give you a pass code for the key box situated outside the main hotel entrance door. There are numbered trays with the keys inside. When I inputed the pass code the key tray didn't open. After a few attempts with growing frustration I snatched at the tray after putting in the code and the tray opened. Warning....you literally have about 2 seconds to pull the tray after putting the code in....before it locks again. We had booked a triple room, as twins were not available at time of booking. It turned out that a triple room is called an Apartment by this hotel, which took some time to find. Two rooms, one with double bed, one room with single bed, with kitchenet. Good for a family. A pleasant stay.

The property was very nice and clean. Everyone was very nice at the hotel. The room was spacious and very welcoming. Loved that they had a fan in the room. The location was perfect, not too far way from the train-station or downtown. Really liked that the property had the extra level of security scanning at night through two doors before getting into the hotel. Would definitely stay again.
