Tired and dated. Comfortable bed. Staff lovely and helpful. Concerned regarding stairs up to 3rd level. Steep stairs up to property with no hand rail. Not suitable for people with mobility issues. No hot water. Warm sporadically.

We had a great experience, the staff were very friendly, it was very quiet there and in a great location to walk to local shops and food. The only downfall was that it could have been a bit cleaner, however our overall experience was good. We would definitely stay there again.

Lovely staff and service was great. Hotel is next to a waterfall and there is a musty smell in the rooms and bed linen feels damp. We actually downgraded our room to go up a level to a room that felt a little less damp. Breakfast is simple but pleasant. Watch out for the monkeys! Cute to watch but they might take a fancy to whatever you leave on your balcony or patio. Overall good value for money and decent location but a little tricky to get to by car due to major traffic congestion all over Ubud and hotel is the end of a long road.

I loved how close it was to the monkey forest, there were monkeys right outside of the hotel and sometimes even on the roof! Very cool. The room was beautiful and clean, food in the restaurant was great, and the spa was lovely. Would stay here again.

Great hotel. Only stayed one night. No complains! You can see monkeys here as it’s super close to the monkey forest. Pool is right in front of the reception desk so that made us not want to use it. But other than that great stay!

The room was nothing fancy, but there was everything I needed. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The location was near everything, but still not next to the loud mainroad. The pool was great and the balinese breakfast was delicious, best banana pancakes I had on my trip to Bali.

Small Hotel within walking distance of monkey forest. Initial booking mistake discovered upon check in-traveling with friend, thought we had booked two/double beds...was given an upgrade after some wrangling and the fact that it was off-season. Male staff very organized with room cleaning. Also very accommodating-from-even when my friend called late at night to remove a gecko from the room-and later called early in the morning to remove a roach. All staff always ready with a greeting and smile.Hotel is beautiful to look at. The pool could have used some maintaining- saw the pump/waterfall feature turned on only twice during twelve day stay-the pool needed cleaning.The small screen older television provided static filled channels w/of any English speaking or subtitled channels.It would have been more hygienic to have the sheets changed-the entire visit only pillowcases changed every other day.We and other guests had to ask for bottled water every day (except for one).The huge bathroom held a moldy smelling large wardrobe and the smell of urine often emitted from the toilet. Rainfall shower head and a huge soaking tub with separate shower head.One a us, the monkey forest was close enough for some monkeys to come over to visit or to be watched from neighboring trees during breakfast.Continental breakfast was filling. The hotel landscaping was beautifully maintained. Overall, the type of establishment better suited for short term stays.

Very friendly staff. The rooms are clean, air conditioned and charming. Its located right near the Monkey Forest so in the morning when you have your coffee and breakfast in the little dining patio, you can see the monkeys and hear waterfall sounds. Lovely pool area. Its very tranquil and the location is very nice. I would stay there again.

We have traveled all over Asia for 20 years. Room's layout is poorly designed. Room 109 bathroom smells really bad; toilet inadequate flush. We reported to the manager, but nothing was done. One night room 109 lost electricity, while room 110 had no air cond. For the price that we paid, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Room was very specious and very clean. It was a very short walk to Monkey Forest Road and a short walk to the entrance of Monkey Forest itself. The hotel is nearby to all sorts of shops, cafes restaurants, massage spas, yet the hotel itself is in a very quiet area. Location is perfect. Staff were very friendly and always eager to help in any way. I would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed by great staff! Rooms were comfortable, clean, and had all the expected amenities of a resort. Staff was very knowledgeable about local excursions and good eats. Check out Flora Bali Trek and ask for Sang! We had a wonderful time just enjoying the local street life in Ubud. Right adjacent to Monkey Forest and has a nice quite pool area. Only suggestion would be to circulate or heat the pool at bit... It was freezing and only was good for a very quick dip on hit day. Take the evening offer to order breakfast, the tea and banana pancake was wonderful.

Firstly, the hotel is a great hotel for the amount of money you pay. But we didn't have a terrace, there were no minibar and breakfast was really disappointing, but you could always walk to the supermarket and buy some bread and ham. The room is nice, but the sheets and towels are gray, and I hadn't expected that from a bit better hotel as this. The problem with this hotel, and why you should book another place is the manager, he is an absolute shameful man. He actually made my girlfriend cry when she went to the reception to report that the toilet wouldn't flush. The other staff actually had to comfort her, and they were so sorry for their awful manager.This could be a culture problem, but I think that he is very very rude to the guest that has a problem they want to report. Instead of trying to solve the problem and be respectful, he starts making excuses and lays the blame on us as his guests with a language that doesn't belong in a managers mouth.
