Booked for a 2 night stay to go to futuroscope, beds were comfortable and room size food but the hotel is very tired and looks run down. Bathroom was clean but smelt of bad drains. Breakfast was fine for what we needed but expensive. We were out most of the day so only needed to room to sleep/wash but next time i'd book somewhere else

The hotel is well located for Futuroscope, being easily walkable with our kids. The staff were jolly and friendly. The biggest downside is the parking spaces are narrow and resulted in many cars simply parking badly across two spaces which made finding a suitable parking spot quite difficult. The other slight downside is the breakfast being expensive (kids over 10 have to pay adult price) and the selection of food is poor. Don’t expect to have a relaxing breakfast because understandably there were huge numbers of young kids all around ! Overall, although the room was small for a family of 4, it was fine if just there to sleep after a long day at Futuroscope and Aquascope. The memory foam pillow was very nice to sleep on.

The staff are very nice and professional. The hotel is close to Futuroscope, walkable in about 10' (normal speed) or 15-20' (leisurely walk), with clear direction. The 2 rooms we reserved are clean and big enough to accomodate up to 5 people (each) quite comfortably. The shower is a good size and is seperated from the sink and toilet, allowing others to use the facilities separately at the same time when needed. Overall, considering that most of the time the rooms are only used for resting from the visit to Futuroscope, they are comfortable and accomodating.

We found at least twenty bugs in the room in the evening, beetle like ones. Then we knew in this area, you should never open the window in the evenings, as too many bugs in this area. Then I will only have to grumble why the front desk didn’t inform us of that, if the bug problem was so severe. They changed our room swiftly at my request. I tend to see this as quite an experience. Good thing is those bugs don’t bite. If they don’t bite, I tend to not bite either.

The great point is the staff and the cleanliness of the hotel. A couple of things to be perfect: Only one towel per person is provided, it would be very much welcome, one for the shower and one for the hands and face. The way the breakfast is organized is messy, is all served in a unique cue, so if you need only a glass of water, you have to wait for the same cue as for the croissants, and coffee. The result is long waiting time for everybody, having the products distribute around the area would facilitate and short the time,

We stayed overnight in a family room to break up the journey south and had evening tickets to Futuroscope. The hotel is a couple of minutes drive to the park €8 for all day or €4 for evening (although they didn’t check on the way out).There are also several restaurants etc to eat a few minutes drive away. Family room was great, clean spacious and comfortable beds with a choice of pillow firmness. Lovely shower although it did soak the room so we rolled up a bathmat on the tray edge which fixed it. Staff were very pleasant and helpful, allowed us an early check in. Breakfast was very nice, excellent value and very kind helpful staff who worked hard keeping it clean and well stocked. The only thing the children would’ve liked would be English speaking channels on TV and a games console which had been advertised but they survived without 👍 I would definitely recommend this hotel for families and it was the perfect stop over.

I would loved to have been able to provide a more insightful review but we booked this long before COVID but in the end we were unable to do all that we planned on our France trip. As we had booked on a non-refundable rate there was no reason to cancel this if there was even a slight chance that we could make it to this hotel as planned. As it happens, we found that many of the interesting things at Futuroscope had restrictions so we decided to save that for another year, so there was not any reason to stay at this hotel. So we didn’t stay here but elsewhere in France. It was a pity we couldn’t get even a part refund because we would have stayed if it wasn’t for COVID, but I guess that’s the risk I take for booking a cheaper non-refundable rate.
