Hotel is in the centre of Chauvigny, convenient for shops, sightseeing. Also has its own car park. Owner was very friendly and helpful with regards to a gluten free breakfast. Eating an evening meal in the hotel restaurant would have been a bonus, but sadly it wasn't open that particular evening.

Basic and rather pricey, but a great cheap dinner.

Very good shower and friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Although no food is included in the price, the hotel restaurant served an excellent three-course meal for €15. Very close to town with good free parking.

The room was spartan and the towels were paper thin (the toilet paper was in fact thicker). The wine we were served in the restaurant was much inferior to that specified on the wine list.

Good value hotel with private parking in a beautiful town.

The location was perfect, a short walk from the main street, with private parking. We were made very welcome by the friendly staff. The room was clean and tidy, and as described, and the breakfast was excellent.

We were disappointed to find that the hotel restaurant was closed (it was a Sunday night), but we were within walking distance of other restaurants.

Charming hosts, well located gem of a Logis.

It was a joy to return to the Beausejour. The owners are delightful and have done so much to improve their property in these last challenging years. We visited on our return journey at the height of the heatwave & we were welcomed into the air-conditioned bar area with kindness & sincerity. Our shuttered room was cool and overlooked the pretty garden. Our evening meal was delicious and excellent value; as was our breakfast which my husband says includes a pot of the most delicious coffee. Plenty of parking is much appreciated after a long journey. We highly recommend this charming Logis and hope to return soon.

Hidden gem a few steps from town centre.

Charming hotel, now a Logis, near the centre of Chauvigny with lovely garden & secure parking. A favourite place for us to start or finish our times in France. Hosts are so kind and friendly. Evening meal delicious. All excellent value.

L'emplacement

La restauration. Le dîner proposé est très moyen. La carte des vins est une horreur. Pour une personne seule, il est important de proposer des vins abordables en petit format (au verre, en demi-bouteille...) mais... de qualité. Là c'était vraiment médiocre. Cet hôtel ne proposait que des chambres à deux lits doubles sur Booking...
