    My wife and I have been on this Europe trip since a few days and have stayed at reasonable decent hotels (2 Accor hotels and 2 Radisson Blu hotels). While my experience in Radisson Budapest was really pleasant, I really got a ripped off feeling with my stay at Radisson in Salzburg. It is a heritage property which they are trying to sell only because of its location. While some staff members are nice, others have this weird arrogance about them which is something which doesn’t exist in hospitality. 1) The room *** to be completely avoided. Pathetic to the core. Low ceiling height just above where you sleep. Both days I banged my head when I woke up. I should ideally be suing the hotel for this. 2) Terrible air conditioning 3) Elevator doesn’t go above 4th floor 4) Entire room lights are yellow while washroom is white. Who approves this. What is the general manager doing??? 5) I was told that there in-house restaurant’s last order is at 2100 hours. I reached at 1930 hours and was told firstly that sorry we can’t serve you any food since we have a private group. Please explain to me since when have hotels started behaving like ***. Then when I had to literally beg, the manager agreed to serve me food. Pathetic hospitality for a *** hotel. 6) When I checked in there was a clearance tray recourse my room which remained there till I informed the front office the next day at 1900 hours. Again, what is housekeeping doing in this hotel. Just by being a 17th/18th century hotel is not enough. One should go and stay in cemeteries in this case and be happy. Please avoid this hotel. Complete waste of money. There are other hotels in the vicinity with similar location.

    Location and staff are the highlights of this hotel. The major downside is cleanliness. The rooms (at least the category that i stayed) needs proper cleaning of floors and sofas and renovation. Location is right in the heart of the old town of salzburg and very convenient
