A fabulous find

I would not be returning.

It was a nice location.

When we arrived the room was freezing. And could not get warm at all even with putting the heater on. The bathroom looked as if it had not been cleaned and the toilet looked used as we arrived. The tv Netflix and all that was provided on there didn’t work as the internet was not strong enough. Normal TV worked but that was it. There were a few bugs in the room as well that we found.

Not as pleasant as anticipated

Liked the rural location

It was freezing cold when we arrived. There was a fixed heater to the wall in the room and a portable electric heater. The bathroom had a towel rail it was cold. We turned on the heating but it took hours to warm up. One bed had a thick quilt the other a thin quilt. Pillows need replacing they were flat and lumpy. Shower room need attention. Lots of places where leaks have come through the ceiling. And vegetation through the window. Bedroom had pictures missing from the wall. Curtains were not fitted onto curtain hooks. Under one bed was dirty. The water tank boiled through the night woke us up. It was not as pictured on the website. Tea and coffee was okay plenty available.

Peaceful and a very pretty area

Lovely and quiet area, managed to get a great night sleep before hitting the road again.

It was a brilliant retreat from Buzzing City

I found that place as an excellent retreat from a big city. A picturesque landscape, lots of silence, and a sunny garden in the morning that was what we needed. The bedroom was quite cosy and comfy.

I would say that perhaps a firm mattress would be better.

Rural location, and easy to locate. Very close to a pub and Sainsbury's store. Clean beds, clean bathroom.

An overpowering smell of bleach upon arrival, perhaps the owner could dose differently. It is a small room and some damage to the wall edges is evident from guests rubbing their luggage on the wall as they enter. Which makes the room look cheap. But it was a good nights sleep for both of us, and a nice warm shower.

Beautiful place, lovely rooms, great value for money

Great location, room tastefully decorated, fresh, clean and comfortable. Fan in room which was great due to hot weather, seating area outside room and communal seating. Host very welcoming, looked after us really well. Great value for money, loads of parking.

Mirror needed in room itself by plug for doing hair and makeup. Working light needed over bathroom mirror. Communal fridges need a clean.

Comfortable stay

Rooms were clean and comfortable if a little dated. Sadly we couldn’t see out of the windows as they were opaque glass which is a shame as the surrounding views were beautiful. Very easy to park. Easy access to all rooms. We booked two doubles and a twin. All guests happy with comfort and convenience.

Booked room to get to my operation at Park hospital , few mikes away. Messaged hosts to book me taxi to get to hospital for 7am, repeated my request at check in. No taxi was booked, hosts did not answer the door, ended up running up and down country lane trying to sort ueber or any l8cal taxi firm, that was late as well. Needless to say absolutely fuming!

lovely pad in beautiful setting, perfect and easy from arrival to departure.

I loved it, so quiet and peaceful and had everything I needed. Bed really comfy and the little details were so nice like the fancy kettle! Nice to be greeted by some rabbits on arrival too.

hard to find a negative but if I had to say something then it's more on me than the host! I can't be trusted with fragile china tea cups. They were very pretty but I was on pins knowing how clumsy I am (not the fault of the property at all and I thought it was actually a really nice touch). Managed not to break anything though, PHEW! Also a full length mirror might have been useful as (again, more on me than the hosts) I wasn't entirely convinced I'd dressed myself properly all day haha

It was very clean and the hosts were friendly and very helpful

No windows in room so was very warm even with the fan. The double doors opened directly into the courtyard so wasn't an option to leave open overnight. Amenities tray was OK but maybe offer a biscuit. No breakfast which was perfectly fine for us but there was no information on local amenities which would help those unfamiliar with the area.

Lovely country stay

Beautiful location quiet area. Easy parking. Lovely cottage feel in room. Lots of tea and coffee in room with pretty cups. We loved the bar area with the dart board to play with. Nice big bath with shower in our en suite. Pretty area to sit outside our room, lots of flowers. Short drive to Mansfield lots of places to eat with our children. Easy self check in and check out. Staff very polite and helpful with messages.

Broken shelf above sink in our bathroom. Bed sheet and pillows were clean but the duvet covers on both beds did have quite a few stains on. Bed was comfortable but so creaky! Bar area wasnt clean. Had dirty cups left on table with mould inside.

The location was lovely with doors that open to the outside courtyard. It was reasonably priced and would stay again. The 80s/90s bathroom was a trip down memory lane.

The room was small with a narrow walkway around the bed so had to step over suitcases when going around the bed.
