The breakfast was excellent. Full English with cereals, fruit, compote, lots of tea and coffee and toast. Expertly cooked by hosts Hugh and Julie who were both charming and very friendly. The location was in a small village with beautiful views over open fields and quiet.

The location and the Queen Suite was idyllic. Our hosts Julie and Hugh were so helpful and friendly, such lovely people. Breakfast was amazing, so much to choose from the menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The only downside was the en-suite facilities. There is only an open arch to this, so not really any privacy for using the toilet, which we found somewhat disconcerting. Not to everyone’s taste.

The hosts were very attentive and tried hard to make it a good experience. The building itself was very attractive, especially from outside.
Not having a lock on our bedroom door. Not having a door to the bathroom. Not having a shower. Not being able to reach the bedside tables from the bed and not even having a box of kleenex! Also very thin curtains which hung well away from the windows. Was also disappointed that the only soft drink appeared to be orange juice, even at breakfast.
