The furniture & decor in the room was a little dated, however the room was very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. The staff member on our arrival was very friendly and efficient. The free water in our room was a welcome touch. We only used the hotel as a base for an event in Nottingham and never used any of the facilities. Although the bar area looked rather splendid and perhaps a great place to sit, relax and have a drink and something to eat. The gardens looked like a lovely area to explore.

Nice location
The rooms were dated and needed a refurbishment. It was very hot and sleeping was difficult even with fan on full.

Character property, good parking, spotlessly clean rooms
Didn’t know we were on 2nd floor and no lift, with guest with heart condition . Wish we had known this on booking.
Room rather cold and dark, poor illumination, no bedside light. Room in need of refurbishment,
