The cottage represents good value for money and contains everything needed for a comfy short stay.

The cottage is located in the heart of the town centre moments from the high street in a courtyard shared with the Crown inn and several other holiday cottages. On street parking is available in close proximity although I suspect it would be more difficult to find a space in the summer months. This was our second stay at the cottage and it provides everything needed for a very comfortable short break and we would not hesitate to return again with our dog. We enjoyed our evening meals in the Crown and the Sportsmans Arms, Wath.

The paving stones in the communal courtyard are cracked and uneven so you need to watch where you are treading. A minor gripe - building contractors were undertaking works to the adjacent pub for the duration of our stay and their 2 vans were parked outside the front door of the cottage during working hours but we appreciate this is beyond the control of the owner and at least they were not making any noise.

It was ok

The window s where impossible to open .to high up and heavy my elderly mother stayed there and couldn’t open them .in the good weather it’s to nosy because of tables in courtyard from the pub near front door .mum had to have door wide open because it was so hot and like I say she couldn’t open the window.

Nice comfy cottage in a very nice part of the world.

Good little cottage with everything we needed, and right in the heart of the village. Pateley Bridge is really nice.

No TV signal/ariel, but the WiFi was fine so could watch some things on demand. Very thin blinds and no curtains so I would recommend an eye mask!

Central relaxed stay.

Central property, near all facilities, well equipped kitchen. Comfy beds with linen and towels. We’d definitely stay again.

As previous reviewers have said it does overlook pub outdoor seating area, although it didn’t matter for us as was quiet after 11. Only addition is a hairdryer.

Everything was fine. There were no staff. Key collected from keypad box and retur ed to same.

Person in same courtyard of outages were paying much less per night than we were.
