The hospitality. The people. The spectacular mountain setting. The breakfast.
The thin walls - you could hear everybody talking outside the door. The bathroom smell. The lack of mosquito nets at the windows. The bed was quite soft and worn out - and we really needed good rest after hiking. Shower water pressure was tragic - impossible to wash your hair if you have long hair.

I was excited to stay here. For me the room was comfy, modern and bright. The bed was comfortable. It was clean and furnished in a simple style without visual noice, creating a cozy atmosphere. The large windows let in plenty of natural light and offer beautiful mountain views, while the small balcony is a great place to relax. Nice hosts and staff of the hotel, everybody was friendly and hospitable. Overall, for a visitor coming for hiking purposes, this is a good place to base yourself.
The downsides are mostly related to the location rather than the hotel itself. For example, restaurants can be a bit noisy in the evening, although they close at a reasonable hour, so it wasn’t a major issue. There are also occasional power outages, which seem to be common in the village, so I understand why there isn’t a fridge in the room. The only downside that really stood out was the soundproofing between neighboring rooms, which could be improved.

The location is fantastic, surrounded by the stunning Theth mountains, with beautiful views right from the room. The wooden interior gives a cozy, alpine feel and the peace and quiet were truly relaxing.
We expected a bit more in terms of service and amenities. Communication could have been better, and overall the experience felt a bit underwhelming compared to the potential the place has.
