Comfortable and clean will recommend!

The cabin has everything you need and situated in a private setting. Comfortable and clean with many extras you don't normally find with self catering! Very thoughtful hosts. Although situated near the A40 the quality of the stay outweighs this . Definitely recommend !!

Perfect for attending a wedding at Glewstone Court!

Absolutely loved our stay! Very cosy cabin and ideal location for our group as we were attending a wedding at Glewstone Court. The cabin is a very scenic walk away and only took 20 mins. Cabin was super cosy and clean. Owners went above and beyond and are super friendly. They even found one of my earrings and offered to post it. Thank you so much!

Perfect cosy bolt hole for a couple

Cosy and comfortable, very well-equipped, handily placed for local attractions, and Steve and Clare couldn’t have done more for us!

There is traffic noise from the nearby road but we quickly got used to it and when inside the cabin we were hardly aware of it.

Lovely little cabin, very convenient location.

A really lovely cabin that suited us and our daughter perfectly. It was a great sized space for a family of three and so handy to have the kitchen space to make dinner and breakfast. The hosts were great at communicating and came to meet us when we arrived to show us around. We would definitely stay again.

Safe garden for kids to play , kids were delighted with Netflix’s . The hosts thing of everything to make your stay easy .

The road noise was mostly throughout the night and towels a bit rough as dried on the line.

Lovely, cozy and comfortable.

Overall, such a lovely cabin, Clare was super nice and talked us through the whole property. The bed was so comfortable and it was such a nice overall stay. Would definitely be back again!

Only thing that can’t be helped is the fact that it’s so close to the A40. That being said, it didn’t ruin anything for us. We usually had the fan on and were watching something so we really couldn’t hear it that much.

Great stay at a very cosy cabin. Lovely hosts.

Loved the cabin. All the facilities we needed for the night were there. Would have been perfect for an evening in the garden if it wasn't for the rain. Great garden set up with BBQ area and seating. Very cosy inside.. very comfortable bed, hot shower and WiFi. Had a pizza delivered which was very welcome after a day of driving round. Just the right size for the 3 of us. Greeted by the very friendly and welcoming host as we arrived who was happy to answer questions about the local area and best places to eat. good communication before arrival.

Only downside was the proximity to the main rd which got a bit noisy at times from over the fence. But was still safe and secure.

The host was great and the property has its own garden area and balcony

Although the fact it's on an A road is mentioned in the ad, it was an issue for us. It was difficult to sleep during the night and also there isn't much in walking distance so a car is an absolute must

Perfect short stay

Beautiful stay, albeit short if definitely stay again. Host was extremely helpful with finding the location prior to my visit and very friendly upon arrival. Cabin was cozy, comfortable, clean, spacious and has everything needed for the stay. The pictures really don’t do this place justice.

Great for short term getaway !

Lovely little cabin was lovely has cooking appliances, hair dryer and smart TV the one thing they could do is add a storage area for clothes as we lived out our suitcases but apart from this great the best mattress on the bed too .

Great little cabin

Great little place! Lovely, clean with great amenities and Cute garden and decking area. Excellent location, with regards to all the local attractions. Down side is the noisy traffic, but this can’t be helped. Friendly hosts. I would definitely recommend.

Cozy few days

How cozy it's made with candles, books to read, everything in the kitchen you need is provided. It was warmer than I expected I didn't know how well the heat would hold in but it was great. Communication from the host was great.

The location in general is amazing, close to many places to see and hidden for privacy out the way, but the road is loud. This obviously can't be changed and was the only thing of the stay we found a negative. However, with Tele or music on you can't really hear it.

Wonderful short break

- The cabin was equipped with everything we needed and lots of nice little extra touches to make our stay comfortable. - The location was excellent for accessing local attractions (Butterfly Zoo, Goodrich Castle, Symonds Yat boat trips, Puzzlewood, Perrygrove Railway). - Off road parking and lovely outdoor area. - Host was friendly and helpful and greeted us at the cabin on our arrival.

Cosy comfy cabin

Great place to use as a base to explore the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley areas. Cabin is well presented and comfortable, with a private garden and gas BBQ. Steve, one of the owners (did not meet Clare) came and said hello when we arrived and was very friendly and helpful.

As many have pointed out it is right next to the busy A40 dual carriageway, which can be noisy. I can see why this might bother some, but for us it wasn’t an issue. If anything the drone of vehicles passing helped us get to sleep and our 2 year old slept through the night without issues.

Lovely little place. Won’t be our last stay.

Clare and Steve are lovely hosts. Loved our stay. They have thought of everything you could want in a cabin stay. Great place, easy to access and with private garden. Can’t think of anything else you would need that wasn’t provided.

Whilst these weren’t issues for us if you're a person who needs total silence when you sleep (there is some noise from the road but absolutely did not bother us at all…)or a super firm mattress (thought I might struggle but actually the mattress was super comfortable) this is probably not going to suit you. That said will absolutely be staying here the next time we’re in the area.

Very good value for money, lovely owners.

Very friendly owners, they drove out to meet us due to road cloesers, cabin was full of supplies and with fresh milk waiting for us. Property was clean and warm. Location is very good as well, close to Ross-on-wye, nature walks and attractions for kids. I’d recommend Cross Key Inn for food suggested by owners. Beautiful part of the world. We would have stayed longer but it was booked next few nights.

Cabin is close to main road but saying that it didn’t bother us the slightest as we had very good night sleep and value for money is extraordinary.

Fab

We chose the property for it’s location, between Ross and Monmouth and very close to Goodrich castle which was a half hour walk away and we discovered an underpass which was a bonus and meant we didn’t have to cross the A40! Comfortable, good layout. Heated towel rail and complementary toiletries.
