We had a fabulous stay at Thatch Close. Our hosts, Edward and Marian, made us feel right at home, including our dog Max. The property is fantastic for dogs and has walking trails right on the doorstep with incredible scenic views. Nearby, you can find Goodrich Castle, Symonds Yat, and plenty of walks from morning strolls to all-day excursions.
We'll certainly be back, and we'd recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing break in the countryside and/or a base of operations for all kinds of outdoor activities (cycling, hiking, canoeing).

Lovely quiet cottage in glorious countryside this place is perfectly equipped. The bed was comfortable and the linen was very fine. The hosts are delightful and helpful.

Cider Cottage is the most comfortable house with everything one needs for a short or long break. I cannot think of anything that was missing and the shower is superb.

Edward and Marian were so helpful.
There were some intermittent problems with wi-fi due to British Telecom’s poor connectivity. Edward went and purchased Starlink so that I could continue my work.
