Second visit

This is the second time we've stayed here. The location was handy for us as we're walking the Herefordshire Trail and good to have a pub just up the road. Beds are comfortable, shower was hot and the living heated up quickly with the mock fire. No floods, which was great!

We had to put the radiators on in the bedrooms but thankfully all was OK after a while- the bedrooms were warm and toasty.

As the weather was good enough to go out each day it made it bearable. Surrounding area is lovely.

Cottage was basic but very clean. Location was lovely.

Infantry in the kitchen was very basic a few cooking/serving utensils would have been handy. Fire and Heating did not work. Owner did call in to get heating working but it didnt work. TV remote was hit and miss, buttons were worn and it could take a few mintues to change channels. With no heating available cottage suffered with damp. Sofa bed is very worn and very uncomfortable to sleep on.

Beautiful forest getaway

A brilliant stay, everything we needed and really close to Puzzlewood and also amazing walks nearby. Butterfly house really worth a visit too. Had a great time with friends and family would highly recommend:)

It was located in a quiet village with no mobile phone signal for 3 so meant I could switch off to outside world

Fabulous and so peaceful

Lovely little place, nice and remote but close to places we wanted to drive too. Goodrich castle is literally a five minute walk away.

Delighted with Jolly’s Studio

Located in lovely village with many walks close by, also the River Wye for fishing/canoeing and Goodrich Castle to explore. A 15 minute drive to the town of Ross-on-Wye. The studio had everything we needed for a week’s comfortable living, as we do like to cook a little bit when away. It’s a delightful property. Amy kept in contact via the Booking.com messaging and we bumped into her at the parking area a couple of times but otherwise we were left to enjoy ourselves. It was a perfect holiday and I cried when I got home!

For us it was just perfect. Perhaps the only thing missing was a corkscrew!

You won't be disappointed.

Clean comfortable space to relax in after a day exploring. Bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure and space. So pleased to have proper sized big body towels. Nice little private outdoor space to sit in. No noise from adjacent studio. Parking was easy too. Really happy to recommend Jollys and would definitely return next time we're in the area.

Jollys is a lovely place to stay. Nothing to complain about. If we were able to stream the tv it would have been nice, but that's not a criticism as we loved the place overall and hope to return.

Wonderful host and place

Amy was made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to assist us when our car broke down on the way to start our stay, giving us a lift from a garage in Ross. Everything was very comfortable and clean.

Booking.com was misleading. I thought I was booking a two-bedroom place from the photos, not realising I booked a studio flat. To my horror it was a double bed. But that's not a reflection on the property which was 10 out of 10.

It was self catering so the breakfast was good

The mattress was very springy and bouncy .The heating was on for limited periods and it became cold at night. Flushing the toilet whilst showering caused the shower to pause.
