We had a great stay. Would recommend.

Lovely little cottage with everything we needed. Great location for the local sights and for walks with the dogs. Georgia was very helpful on the phone when we couldn’t find the cottages even though she had sent good directions!

The bed is very soft making it uncomfortable for us.

Lovely relaxing weekend

Dog friendly, lovely views, nice walk around the garden down towards the lane. Very quiet.

The stairs, made a terrible noise inside the apartment. Wether you where in bed or downstairs, you could not get away from the noise. No wardrobe in second bedroom, only chest of drawers

Beautiful location, close to walks and walking distance to lovely local pub. Garage was a bonus. Lovely gardens. Lovely and quiet.

Very creaky stairs and landing needs sorting. Very old and stained single mattresses. Day bed creaked and couldn't be slept on and noticed it wasn't even put together properly. Bedding needs replacing. Kitchen in need of update,

The location was good, very quiet and easy access to walking routes. The views were wonderful and the flat very cosy. The gardens were a joy to walk in or take a coffee outside and sit on a bench.

It was a little tired in places and the steps up to the property a pain with luggage.

The cottage was clean, warm, comfortable and very well equipped. The bed was very soft, which suited us. Amazing views, riverside walks and a local pub with lovely meals.

Fab stay with pals and children

Well set-up cottage with pretty much all you could need in a great location. Kitchen especially plenty of cooking implements and even a dishwasher. New TV with smart capabilities and WiFi also helped with the neurodiverse member of our party being able to access familiar things. Garage for car was easily usable with an estate car (as a non garage owner, I always worry a bit about the size of garage but this was great.) Location wise so much on the doorstep or within 20 minutes. The ferry to the pub is a must.

I did have a minor issue with a piece of furniture but communication was prompt and attentive and no further issues. Great host.

Wonderful stay!

Lovely place, clean & comfortable. Stayed in number 8 which had everything you could want for a self catering stay. Location was perfect and loved that it was dog friendly allowing us to take our rescue for her first road trip. Free parking on site too. Would stay again!

A good base for a few days in the Wye Valley, but expect 'perfectly adequate' rather than 'stunning'

The property is clean, comfortable, value for money, and in a very good location, but 'stunning' not! Everything works okay, though we had a problem with the shower (pull the cord very hard!) and the kitchen light (works the opposite way round from expected). Beds are comfortable, decent seating in the living room, easy to park, good wifi.

If it hadn't been for the 'stunning' we'd probably have had slightly lower expectations ... The property is part of a large row of similar houses built in the 1970s(?) and now a bit the worse for wear. Similarly the property's decor, from creaky upstairs floorboards to loose knobs on the kitchen drawers. For us the main downside was the quality of the kitchen implements – rusty frying pan, blunt knives, a one-person cafetiere for a 4-person apartment (?). Would be very easy to rectify, but maybe owners don't expect visitors to cook these days.

What a location! Amazing views across the valley.

The location is beautiful. Property was lovely and clean and exactly what I would expect for the very reasonable price. Little box with everything we needed for the dog was a nice touch. The host sent clear, accurate instructions on how to get there and access the property.

A little information folder with local services, nearby walks, etc would have been useful. Cottage is a little tired but not an issue as is only really somewhere to rest your head as most of your time will be spent out in the stunning surroundings.

Brilliant location. The views are fantastic. So many lovely walks from the cottage there was no need to use a car. The property itself was extremely clean, very cosy with lovely personal touches. 2 pubs within walking distance.

Excellent location for walking around Wye valley. Very impressive views. Very relaxing. Good pubs and hotel restaurants within easy walking distance. Enjoyed hand pulled ferries. Closest ferry is requested by ringing the pub. Suspension bridge down stream. House well equipped for cooking etc. Has smart TV with Netflix access. Ross on Wye and Goodrich castle worth visit.

Lovely location Nice surroundings Comfortable accommodation

No personal touches no coffee and tea for when you arrive a starter log fire would have been great but instead we had to go out straight away to get above. Given wrong key code so we were locked out for over an hour. Luckily neighbours noticed us and helped. Paying a good price expect a little more than the basics What would have been extremely helpful would have been a welcome book with local information pubs,walks,shops etc as it was we didn't even know what direction to walk for nearest anything. Phone reception not great so struggled to use phone for such information.

The location is beautiful but the hills are challenging as a pedestrian and in the car !

The hot water tank had a problem so when you turned on the hot tap , the boiler made a horrendous noise . The floorboards throughout the cottage creek like mad . The cottage kitchen is extremely well stocked , it has everything you could possibly need .

Very enjoyable time, lots to do in the local area.

The location was beautiful. Lots of walking with our dogs. Nice food in the local pubs we used. Cottage was adequate in size for the four nights we stayed. Very comfortable beds, all linen and towels supplied. Good size fridge and freezer.

Noisy floorboards,stairs and water tank. Shower wasn’t great, but manageable.
