A weeks stay whilst working in town. A perfect place to stay if you want to just relax after work.

Perfectly located in the centre of Coleford. Superbly equipped with everything you needed. Underfloor heating in the bathroom was lush :)

Excellent property , very cool decor and very clean.

Decor and facilities were great, owners were exceptionally helpful. Ideal location for all Forest of Dean activities.

It was very slightly cold but I think this was because of loose runner on outside door so draught came straight up the stairs.

Weekend away in Coleford

20 Market Place was a beautiful property with great amenities. The place was furnished in a sixties style with lovely touches. It was overlooking the market square with very nice views.

It was quite noisy . There were bus stops outside and several pubs playing music late into the night.

Family Easter getaway

I liked how close everything was. Had a Lidls and co-op about 5 mins walk. Corner shop less than 2 mins away. Pubs right next door which wasn't as noisy as I thought it would be. All adventure experiences on your doorstep literally 2 mins drive away we visited every place we could and had such an amazing time

The 2 flights of steep stairs but only because I have a toddler that loves going up and down the stairs so trying to keep him away from them all the time was stressful but other than that it was beautiful and cozy.

Great town location with access to the forest..

It's right on the main square with a view of what's going on in the town. There are shops, pubs and the railway museum in 5 min walk. Easy to get to walks in the Forest by bike or car. Tasteful decor.

One of the bedrooms is quite small.

20 Market Place Our short break

The location is very good. Close to 4 supermarkets all within walking distance. It is well equipped. Warm and cosy A lovely welcome pack was awaiting us, and Tony, the owner, was very helpful. It's close to many local attractions. The Italian restaurant and Tramway fish and chip shop are excellent. All in all a great stay.

Excellent town centre location, which means there will be some traffic noise.

Brilliant apartment to explore Forest of Dean

Lovely apartment, perfect size and everything you need for your stay. Great Base to explore the area with loads to do.

As a single mum, parking across the roundabout and dashing back and forth with bags and kids was a bit stressful especially when the buses all pile into the bus stop! A bit more warning about this would have been helpful to plan how best to do it. Other than this, its perfect.

Really loved our stay at 20 Market Place, Lucille and Tony were perfect hosts, really helpful.

The Location was great, very accessible to all of the main tourist areas. The apartment was so clean, comfy and well stocked with all you need for a wonderful stay. Lucille and Tony were wonderful hosts, very helpful and kind. Very generous welcome pack and toiletries were very well received on arrival and much appreciated. We went to Symonds Yat [wonderful view of the Wyre valley and river]. Puzzlewood, Chepstow Castle [not very far and over the border in Wales], Gloucester [including a wonderful high end brands outlet called Gloucester Quays with 70% off some of the products]. Well worth a stay with loads more to do.

Nice apartment

Nice apartment with 2 bedrooms on the first floor and living room on the 2nd with view on the city center. We've stayed with our son and dog. A lot to see in the area - Puzzlewood, Clearwell Caves ..., for afternoon walk Angus Buchanan VC Recreation Grounds. We've been parking in Newland Street parking 5 min walk from the hotel that is something like 6p for 6 days and there was always a parking space. Very relaxing place.

Mountain bike break.

The accommodation was comfortable and clean. All the little extras were welcome. The location was perfect, a stone's throw away from the forest of Dean for our mountain bike break. Highly recommended

Excellent Place.

Everything about the place was excellent, and the bonus of being dog friendly was a bonus, and we also found a carpark 2 mins walk away that only charged £2 a day.

If I'm being petty, one of the windows in the kitchen area was cracked, and the toilet seat was loose, but it is still an exceptional place.

A lovely space with owners who ensured all the amenities are there

The little house is right in the centre of Coleford and it has all of the amenities you can imagine when staying away from home and more. It was perfect for our needs with little extras like a pint of milk in the fridge and things like a proper chopping board and sharp knives for cooking. It is exactly as you would want such accommodation to be. There's a lovely bakery across the road and a big CO-OP just 2 minutes walk.

As a light sleeper I found it noisy- a lot of people leaving the pubs loudly late at night, the hairdressers starting early in the room under the bedroom and the busy bus stop outside. However there is nothing at all the owners can do about this!

A beautiful, spacious apartment in a lovely holiday setting.

A beautifully finished flat in Coleford. Very cosy, comfortable and well equipped. We really appreciated the lovely Christmas decorations placed around the flat too. It was ideal for a Christmas holiday stay. Near Clearwell caves and Perrygrove children's railway. Our little boy had a magical time at "The Christmas House".

No complaints from us.

This comfortable little flat overlooks a pretty market square and is within an easy walk of food shops, a brilliant little pub and a fish and chip shop.

Lovely clean well equipped apartment

This was a very well equipped and spotlessly clean apartment. The host even provided extra touches like milk, bread, eggs and tea and coffee for arrival. Beds were comfy. Good communication from the host.

A good place to have some downtime after a busy few weeks.

The host, Tony, was very helpful and welcoming. The flat was very comfortable with tasteful decor. The availability of Cook! within the nearby Co-op was an appreciated alternative to eating out. We also enjoyed lots of welcoming touches in the accommodation.

We found the bus-stop right outside meant it was not as quiet as we expected and we were probably unfortunate to experience a particularly rowdy Friday night in the square.

A beautiful well-located apartment with a friendly host who knows how to look after his guests.

The nice little touches counted for a lot: the welcome pack with milk, eggs, bread and so on was such a friendly idea; allowing us a little extra time to check out because of my wife's mobility problems, the housekeep[er having switched on the fan and opened the windows before we arrived so the place would be cool for us on a hot day. It's that attention to detail which makes you feel you are welcomed and valued as a customer.

Lovey accommodation, host and location - thank you!

The place itself was perfectly located in the market square. Coleford itself is right in the heart of a beautiful area, with great attractions to visit, and lovely walks in the Forest of Dean. Very high quality accommodation.

Position of the hanging bedside lights in the main room is awkward - I kept banging my head. The curtains need to be much easier to draw, and the sharp pins need to be removed. But these were minor problems.
