contemporary quiet countryside retreat

Breakfast was perfect. Yogurt muesli & croissants - all eaten outside in the sunshine at the little screened table, chairs & sun umbrella. The host really had thought of everything in this accommodation. Beautifully presented in a quiet little village with a lovely village pub.

Great compact accommodation with quality fixtures and fittings. Well equipped kitchen, tea & coffee provided. Breakfast box in the fridge much appreciated (milk, bananas, croissants, muesli). Comfortable bed and 2 fans (we stayed during the heatwave) and lovely terrace (with parasol) outside to sit and chill in the evening/eat breakfast. Great shower. I mentioned that the expelair in the bathroom didn't work but Stuart was replacing it as we left! Great service and lovely hosts. Hope to stay again next year.

No room for large cases but fine with small ones.

The breakfast was similar to what we eat at home. As the weather was wet on 2 mornings we did not leave the property until early afternoon when it stopped raining, thank goodness for the large screen TV as we never watch it in the morning when at home.

Perhaps a stall in the kitchen would have been useful.
