Uncomfortable
Kitchen was nice.
The doorways are very low. If you are about 5ft8in or taller, you will be at risk of hitting your head. Being 6ft4in, I had to walk around bent-over most of the time, which was uncomfortable. The steps to the first and second floors are very steep, with a clear risk of stumbling when coming down. Anyone with any sort of leg or hip problems will struggle on the stairs. The stone floor on the ground floor in the living areas is cold and mottled giving it an appearance of being dirty. It would be good to have more rugs to cover it up. The windows were old with a noticeable draft coming through.

Quaint cottage steep stairs
Quaint and cosy cottage, very clean and tidy withh everything you need available. Add a handrail, and our review would have been a 10.
We could not use the second floor bedroom ( the double) as the stairs were too difficult for my wife. The lower staircase really needs a handrail as it is seriously steep and the treads were very narrow and my wife had real difficulty getting up and down.
