Good size, great location right next to the woods, really beautifully light and airy
The shower in the bathroom leaks under the shower door, and the main light in the sitting room didn’t work, it just flickered repeatedly and brightly.

Excellent set up for someone travelling alone. I was down here working and needing somewhere cheap where I could work and get a good nights sleep. Free wifi provided for working, comfortable bed, Netflix on the TV and adequate facilities for making food on the go (microwave, fridge, kettle, etc). Ideal for my visit. Travelling to Stroud a lot over the next few weeks for work so will 100% stay here again.
If I'm being harsh - All I could say is that it was a bit tricky to find when first arriving at night due to lighting. Good instructions provided by the host however which made this as achievable as possible.

The perfect rural retreat - very quiet location. Great if you have a dog as it’s in the woods! Also very tasteful decor and it has everything you need.
Nothing really - any issues were dealt with by attentive owners.

This cabin is delightful but it is not easy to access if you have mobility issues and sadly the key broke which was a pain and we spent one day of our two night break . It’s very cosy and the woods and views are stunning . The cabin has everything you need and is lovely . The bed is very comfortable. The bathroom was tiny and no sink and the shower needs looking at its temperature wasn’t easy to regulate . The parking is a huge issue for me and if you want bringing dogs and shopping it is a very steep hill and not easy to find . I do think it’s quite pricey for what you actually get and you definitely need a car as there are no shops or restaurants nearby . Slad and Stroud are close by car but this wouldn’t be the place if you don’t drive .
