Fantastic
A very high level of cleanliness is vital when we stay away from home as my partner is germaphobic and suffers with OCD. The property met her standards and provided a wonderfully relaxing space to unwind after the stresses of travel! We couldn't have asked for more, lovely comfortable flat, great view and easy access to town. Fantastic stay, Thank you!

Great stay away from home.
It is nice to have your own space. The different kitchen appliances help with prepping your own food. Instant coffee and tea are ready. The rooms are cozily small. It's a great place for 2 people. The location is amazing, especially being there on a weekend. The farmers' market on Saturday is amazing, so many kind people live here. We went on multiple walks around and in Stroud and always came back later than planned because there was so much to see and explore. Stroud has many big supermarkets: Sainsbury's. Aldi. Waitrose. Lidl. There is a train station, not far from the stay. However, we came by car and there was enough space to park. Painwich is a short drive away, also a great little town you have to visit. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would love to come again! Maybe also try one of their other stays, like 'lower' high view.
The kitchen could be cleaner. Seemed like the host did not check if the last stay had cleaned up well. Cups, plates, glasses, and utensils all had to be cleaned on arrival. The oven wasn't clean, and the baking plates weren't cleaned before use. Water boiler could use an anicalk. On arrival, the heater was on like 6 degrees. So cold. Luckily right at arrival, we went for groceries, so luckily it had time to warm up. Also retrieving the key wasn't as expected. There is always one empty parking spot that belongs to a different housing complex. It's a little unclear whether you can or not park there. Having a rental car it was stressful when we got a card from the neighbors about the wrong parking we had done. Even though it says 'higher' Highview Lodge it isn't the top floor of the building, you will be staying on the first level (one above ground floor).

We had a lovely visit in Stroud seeing family. The property was very close to the town center.

Lovely flat convenient for shops and exploring the area.
The flat was cosy and had everything I needed. It was a short walk from the shops. Parking was easy. Nice views once the mist cleared.
Sofa was a bit hard to sit on but then sofa beds usually are.

Location was super for walking into town and I needed to be close to Stonehouse, which was also nearby.
