Mid-Century apartment in the heart of Stroud

Beautiful decorated and styled. The bed in the green room was so comfortable! Instantly felt safe and welcome with the rainbow key fob, nice touch. Bar staff were super helpful letting me drop my luggage in as I arrived earlier than planned. Also opened up the garden for us when we came for a quiet (frozen) drink after the show we went to see. The location was brilliant for shopping and the show at the Sub rooms, also close to station. We only stayed one night but I'd be happy to stay again and for longer to enjoy the record player in the lounge and the coffee machine more.

Booking.com didn't correctly display check out time but the owner was flexible and understanding when we were late to leave. That's is, as a property there was nothing to dislike.

Absolutely loved the eclectic decor. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped. It is so close to the centre of town and has a dedicated parking space.

We knew the property was above a bar so some noise was to be expected. The opening times show a close of 1am and on Friday night all was ok as we all had ear plugs. However Saturday was altogether different. A rendition of Robbie Williams ‘Angels’ on the in bar piano with all customers singing along at nearer 2am had us all awake with an encore nearer 3am followed by staff then moving beer kegs around we considered going down in our pj’s for a nightcap! 😡

It was so carefully and thoughtfully designed to be homely yet very stylish and funky. Lots of lovely details, good quality kitchen ware and beautiful artwork. I’d just love to live there! Location was also excellent. It’s wonderful to stay somewhere with live (not plastic) plants and the place felt cared for and loved by the owners.

I had some difficulty finding the car parking space.
