Stenson Hill Farm

It was very spacious, enough for a group of 20. Kitchens appliances, as needed. The pool/snooker tables were enjoyed. Would stay again.

Decor was dated. En-suites need updating/evidence of mould. Kitchen items unorganised (but that's just personnel preference)

On arrival, the owner and manager made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the property and handing us warm samosas and dip. The manager was really helpful about facilities and places to visit in the area, especially dog-friendly pubs. This was our first stay at Stenson Hill for a family gathering of 16 adults, 2 children, a baby and 3 dogs. The house was clean and spacious with a great range of kitchen equipment and utensils. The garden and outdoor areas are super with plenty of space for cricket and rounders. There is also a great pool/snooker room, selection of board games and tennis courts. Plenty to do for all the family. We would definitely like to visit again and would wholly recommend it.

A lovely welcome, with a huge platter of freshly cooked samosa. It's very spacious, warm & cosy. Beds were clean & very comfortable. Furniture in bedrooms, was antiquated but added to the charm. Lots of seating in lounge & dining rooms. Wood burner in a huge fireplace in main lounge. Full sized pool & snooker tables in separate games room. Beautiful gardens, lovely outside patio area, with plenty of seating. Out of the way, so no worries about upsetting any neighbours yet close enough for a few minutes drive to local Asda supermarket.

I didn't really dislike anything. It's a bit dated & worn. Kitchen could do with a refurb but it was serviceable & perfect for our needs.

Easy to contact for arrival, and when we had an issue with the cooker during our stay the caretaker responded promptly. Large property for our mixed group of friends, dog friendly, in a central location. Games, lounge and dining areas were ideal.

Bedrooms and bathrooms were worn with poor shower pressure. One of the hobs in the kitchen was very difficult to use.
