Spacious and good location

I had a problem with the heater that was only solved after 36 hours! In short, I spent the night -2 totally cold and without cooking nothing worked, blood stains on the sofa and bed, totally precarious cleaning

Perfect location, very easy check in and very spacious apartment.

One of the only air bnbs that had a shower with amazing pressure and the water stayed hot whilst using it! The apartment was a great size, very spacious and lovely living room! And to top it all off the location was amazing for the price!

The WiFi wasn’t amazing I had to use my data quite a bit for my phone to load. And the parking space I was allocated for apartment 13 was a struggle to get out of with a car parked in the space next to me but I understand there’s not a lot that can be done about that and I did manage to get out of it okay.

The property was very unclean. You are greeted by overflowing smelly bins in the common area. (Not emptied for weeks) then 5 fights of step stairs to get to the 3rd floor. No lift! Then you open the door, greeted by the smell of cigarettes (every window was open). The carpets had stains everywhere. Then we checked the bathroom, sink had soap from the previous guests. Glasses in the cupboard we all wet, no tea towel. We finally opened the fridge to put our milk in…. Dirty with food soil, and in need of defrosting. We then said this is not appropriate and contacted the host. They only replied with auto responses. Booking.com are represented and need to check these things. We have several photos to back the comments. We have requested a refund.

Home away from home in a convenient location.

Really appreciated the homely, familiar feel of the property and felt very comfortable during our stay. Good communication from the property management with minor maintenance issues (i.e dripping tap) being dealt with efficiently and promptly. Great location and we may well be back.

A second sofa would be beneficial to accommodate the seating for 4 guests.

Perfect weekend 👌

The apartment was clean.I am very particular about bathrooms, and this was very clean, and everyone in the family enjoyed their stay. The living area was clean and comfortable. Bedrooms, all great. Kids friendly, and they enjoyed the space in the apartment. Kitchen equipment worked okay.

The property is a home from home and perfect for families or friends exploring Derby.

The location was brilliant! It was very close to the city centre so easy to walk everywhere. It was very comfortable and perfect for a group get together.everything was clean, the kitchen was well equipped.

It was extremely hot weather when we stayed so maybe some fans to help with this.

The property was in a great location, extremely clean and had everything we needed for a 3 night stay. The beds were extremely comfy and felt it was great value for money especially on a event weekend

overall experience is not good as they placed us to a different apartment.

The apartment is totally different from the pictures shown when we booked. By looking at the window size, obviously we were placed to a different apartment. Unfortunately, it's not a well-maintained apartment and the overall cleanliness should be improved. Some areas appear neglected. It requires significant maintenance and improvement. We requested technician service to replace the heater for shower in one bathroom, whereas the shower system in the other bathroom shows significant signs of wear, with rust accumulation and dirt buildup making it entirely unsuitable for use. The technician has patiently replaced it for us the next day. To sum up, it affects a great deal on overall experience. Booking.com should make sure we were offered the apartment that we were booked for.

Ok for a couple nights

Flat inside is ok, lots of room, comfy beds. It was ok for a few nights.

Windows let in a lot of noise, had to wear earplugs. No lock on front door. Delay in getting the information about how to check in. Had to chase a few times. Heating controls had no batteries so it was really warm all the time. The shower would flicker between boiling or cold

Great Stay, Property Great and well worth the money and Management very helpfull

Location was great, just a few minutes from Town, The Friary was just round the corner, the Orange Tree was across the road, both well worth visiting.

I have passed a couple of points onto the Accomodation Manager, they are starting an up grade, which I think will make them just great,

Massively disappointing

Just the location

Not as described. 3 en suite rooms? This was not true , there were 3 bathrooms but separate from the bedrooms on a corridor next to easlch other! Very strange. No shower gels , toilet rolls , towels were very poor standard. It wasn't clean enough for us to stay there. The lock was broken on the door we couldn't get in . Cigarettes burns on furniture and bedding was the final straw we went home.

Good location but Wi-Fi is not strong enough for phones etc.

Wi-Fi was not strong enough. Couldn’t connect phones, Switch etc. TV wouldn’t work either. You can’t advertise this as having Wi-Fi as it doesn’t work properly. Freezing cold upon arrival. With windows open and no heating on. Had to figure out how to put heating on and wait for it to warm up. Shower in master en-suite only ran boiling hot water. Couldn’t alter temperature so we were unable to use it. Also had hair in from previous renter. No bag for the bin. Luckily I bought one but with only staying one night, no time to go out and buy one.

A Sanctuary in Derby!

What a beautiful space! My colleague and I booked to stay here to attend training at Derby Uni. It was a 15 minute walk away so we could leave our car parked up securely on site. The rooms are spacious and it was amazing to have two separate bathrooms too. Beds are comfy and we had plenty of space to set up and work with great WiFi. The hosts are great with instructions and support. Love love love!

The apartment was to a very high standard, furnished beautifully and very spacious. Couldn’t have been in a better location right in the centre of town. Private parking and the communication from the property prior to checking in was spot on. The beds were really comfy so had a great nights sleep. Would highly recommend this property

Late night arrival confusion

Spacious accommodation. Close to city centre. Off street parking. Online support for any queries during stay. Would love to come back for a longer stay.

Found instructions key box location confusing as depends whether you are in the car park or by the entrance when you read them ! 5 adults took a good 15 mins and a message for further support to find them 🤣 Easy to see in daylight but we arrived at 10.30pm so completely missed them ...and there are key boxes by the door which totally confused us all. Never mind we got there in the end !

Unsafe due to drug users in what should be a secure carpark. Under average flat, horrible stay!!!

The general location was ok, Lolly was really good to deal with and had several maintenance issues fixed very promptly (broken internal door handles, broken shower in en-suite)

The property is very worn and in need of a good makeover ,broken door handles, broken shower in en-suite, curtain pole falls off, stained carpets, stained and scuffed walls. Lack of equipment in kitchen. Booked for 3 people and initially only towels for 2. Some of the issues were fixed promptly but whole apartment needs work. I expected a much higher standard of accommodation for the cost and the photos on the internet are not a true reflection of the apartment. The door into the apartment block has been damaged at some stage and needs to be slammed to close it and as a result is regularly left open by other residents The car park space was almost impossible to park in unless you drive a very small car. The door to the car park is broken and has obviously been like this for a long time which has given rise to the local drug dealers and drug users taking up residence which means running the gauntlet through drug users, syringes and other drug use implements every day as well as human excrement and urine. My wife and her sister felt VERY unsafe and had she had been staying there without me she would have had to seek alternative accommodation. We stayed for two weeks and the bins were not emptied during the whole stay which meant the rubbish just piled up which again gave rise to the drug users going through the bins in the car park leaving rubbish strewn everywhere. In fairness to the host she did offer alternative accommodation after my wife expressed how unsafe she felt but were advised by family members not to accept the alternative apartment as that too was located in a very high crime rate area. All in all it was a very unpleasant stay. I would Not recommend this apartment at any price!!!!

Someone broke the stair rail overnight so we couldn’t get out the flat without stepping over it.

The en-suite bathroom absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke and so did the bedroom. It smelt that bad we couldn’t even open the door to the bathroom but we had to sleep in the bedroom
