Not a good option if you just want a stop-over during a road trip

nice location in a small village

very slow service: we ended up not having dinner as it took 30min to order drinks, 1 hour to hear what the dinner options are (they don't do menus but the chef prefers to talk), and after another 90 min we still didn't get our dinner so went to bed. The rooms are basic at best, we had one sachet of shower gel between the two of us, there was no soap, the towels were flimsy.

I can't remember ever being welcomed as warmly and treated with as much comfort and attention as at the Altes Pharrhaus. The owner's personal touch and great attention to detail has transformed this hotel & restaurant into a charming, peaceful and very stylish place. The breakfast was sublime and full of variation. Our experience could not have been better and we regret not having stayed longer.

Sehr schönes, wunderbar renoviertes altes Gebäude mit Spitzenküche

Das Restaurant ist nur am Wochenende geöffnet, aber dafür lohnt es sich. Es gibt ein riesiges Vorspeisen- und Dessertbuffet. Der Chef und Koch kommt an den Tisch und erklärt, was es als Hauptgang gibt, alles frisch zubereitet. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet reichlich. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man sollte aber schon mit dem Auto anreisen, da es sehr abgelegen ist. Aber es gibt auch eine Zugverbindung zwischen Bitburg und Trier.

Es gab eine Baustelle vor der Tür, die uns aber nicht weiter gestört hat, da wir tagsüber unterwegs waren und es war auch nicht laut.

Un moment suspendu hors du temps et de la tension de l'époque... Une vieille maison du XVIIème avec un grand charme, des propriétaires charmants, beaucoup de calme, des prix restreints, un excellent diner le soir et petit-déjeuner le lendemain matin...Un accueil multilingue très souriant...Que demander de plus ? Une parenthèse enchantée qu'on aimerait renouveler aussi souvent que possible....

Slapen op mooie locatie

De omgeving was erg mooi. Het eten vd chef kok was erg lekker, voor en nagerecht ht kon je zelf pakken, ruime keuze. Hoofdgerecht werd door chef kok aan tafel geserveerd

De werkzaamheden rondom het hotel. Erg vroeg gewekt door graafmachines. Moesten omrijden om weer op de vervolgroute te komen....kon het hotel niets aan doen overigens.

Boven verwachting.

Bij nadering van het gebouw was onze eerste indruk niet zo goed; oud pand, opgebroken straat, dat wordt vast niets. Maar na het inchecken sloeg dit beeld totaal om. Mooi gerenoveerd, deels met oude materialen. Kamer met badkamer waren netjes. ‘s Avonds was er een zeer uitgebreid buffet en het ontbijt was eveneens prima. Complimenten aan de exploitant.

De aard van het eeuwenoude pand brengt met zich mee dat het trapje-op/trapje/af moet om van de ene naar de andere ruimte te gaan.

Gezellige ambiance. Vriendelijk personeel. Heerlijke rustige en ruime kamer. Geen lawaai van het restaurant dat helemaal was volgeboekt. Uitgebreid en echt prima ontbijt! Fietsen mochten achter het hek op het terras staan.

Die perfekte Unterkunft um stilvoll zu nächtigen und Ruhe in einem tollen Ambiente zu tanken.

Das Hotel ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet und bietet alles was man benötigt um von hier aus die Südeifel zu erkunden. Es ist wundervoll im Tal gelegen und bietet sehr viel Ruhe, aber trotzdem ist man schnell bei den umliegenden Sehenswürdigkeiten und Städten. Die Zimmer sind einfach (zweckmäßig) aber modern ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das alte Pfarrhaus ist ein wunderschönes altes Gebäude, dass mit seinen Details und der schönen und stilvollen Gestaltung für eine absolute Wohlfühl-Atmosphäre sorgt. Das Restaurant No. 56, dass sich im Hotel befindet, bietet ein super leckeres, frisches und individuelles Essen und überzeugt absolut durch seine gemütliche Einrichtung und das gesamte Ambiente. Hier kann man ein paar gemütliche Stunden bei einem guten Glas Wein genießen. Auch das Frühstück bietet alles was man braucht und vor allen Dingen frisches, saisonales Obst und Gemüse und viel Gesundes.

Tolles Haus mit neu gemachten Gemein-Bereichen. Schönes Restaurant und sehr netten Menschen und guten, besonderen Essen zu guten Preisen. Das Frühstück ist klein aber schön gemacht.

Die Zimmer sind recht einfach gehalten. Dafür stimmt der Preis aber!

Gutes Frühstück

Bei später Anreise um die Mitternacht , haben wir fest gestellt das karte von Zimmer nicht funktioniert , das heist könnten wir nicht rein , bei Notruf sollten wir eine Nummer angerufen wo gute 2 Stunden niemand dran geht , zu unsere Glück war da ein andere Schlüssel von andere Herr der nicht angereist ist , wir haben In andere Zimmer übernachtet , aber ehrlich gesagt , so was darf nicht passiert , niemand erreichtbar , niemand da , andere Seite würden wir draußen schlaffen müssen oder in Auto . Nach Erwähnung nexte Tag könnt nur trockene Entschuldigung von eine Bedienung , nach weitere Beschwerde würde uns nur trocken gesagt , sie haben doch Zimmer bekommen . Bekommen nein einfach Glück gehabt . Sehr unfreundliche Bedienung bei Frühstück . Ich hoffe so was passiert nie eine Family mit Kinder weil die dann übernachten in Auto müssen .
