Nice location.

Great location at the River, nice for a walk.

Many rooms go in different direction than river. Some rooms no elevator. Restaurant was closed out of season.

Nice hotel and really friendly staff for our short stay.

The hotel room was very nice, freshly renovated. Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly at reception, at breakfast and most of all: at checkout. We were hiking with backpack, weather was not good at all and she gave some usefull tips for our day.

Location right by the river

The staff were very friendly and spoke some English, which was helpful for me. The room had everything I needed. The location was great - right by the water. And it had a restaurant, which was very convenient. Great breakfast - big pot of coffee, scrambled eggs, cheeses, meats, fruit salad, breads, etc.

A relaxing few days with good food, good wine and good hiking

The hotel's location, facing the river Mosel and easily accessible from the motorway, was for us ideal. After our long drive from the UK the hotel (and Mehring itself) was perfect for a relaxing evening. The restaurant was welcoming and there was a good choice of tasty food. On warmer days the terrace with views of the river was a good place for coffee and cake. All staff were friendly and helpful. Our room, not in the main building, was very spacious with a large balcony. Wifi was good. We have stayed several times at this hotel and hope to do so again before long.

Credit cards are not accepted. We were not surprised as that is quite often the case in Germany. However, some people may be caught out

Location.

Half basement room. No good ventilation. No view. Only one window can open, which is just level to the ground. Bad experience. Can't sleep well.

Perfect, relaxing place

This place is very cozy, clean and really beautiful view from the balcony. We spent an evening here and we totally relaxed from long drive. The staff are really helpful and warm. Everything is perfect!

A warm, welcoming greeting by the hostess. Friendly staff. Comfortable room (single). Excellent restaurant! Good food and drink. The location is super! WiFi worked well as did 4G data service. Recommend.

An excellent gem in a lovely location

This was a typical German breakfast with good variety and quality. The staff were very helpful and willing to go out of their way to ensure your visit was good. The restaurant has a good variety of options at reasonable prices with a selection of local wines.

A good hotel to stay if you want to relax by the riverside or if you are on a cycling tour.

The hotel is right by the Mosel river, so that was nice. There are a number of restaurants and shops around. The town of Mehring is quiet and scenic. The breakfast was good, and the staff was friendly.

Schön gelegenes Hotel , tolle Inhaber

Wir sind sehr herzlich von Frau Bach empfangen wurden. Sie hat uns einiges erklärt z.b wo wir sehr gut zu Abend essen gehen können . Unser Zimmer war im Haupthaus . Es war war sehr aus gekühlt so das wir gleich die Heizkörper im Zimmer sowie im Bad an stellten . Leider hat sich in Laufe des Abends nicht viel verändert . Wir haben am nächsten Tag Frau Bach darüber informiert und sie hat uns sofort ein anders Zimmer zur Verfügung gestellt , das fanden wir echt toll und ein super Service . So sind wir ins Nebenhaus gezogen und hatten ein super schönes warmes Zimmer bekommen . Vielen Dank noch mal dafür . Das Frühstück war gut gewesen , der Kaffee schmeckte und es werden auf Wunsch frische Eierspeisen serviert. Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt vielen Dank .

Das Hotel lädt zu einem weiteren Besuch ein. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt.

Sauberes Hotel in sehr guter Lage. Die Größe des Zimmers war ausreichend, das Bad groß und modern. Große Auswahl beim Frühstücksbuffet. Freundlicher Service. Das Restaurant war leider oft geschlossen aufgrund von Personalmangel. Ausreichend Parkplätze.
