Good for a few nights

Spacious room with good beds. Modern bathroom.

Breakfast was a bit limited. Although the staff was friendly it lacked a bit of ambiance. Bitburg is a bit of quiet town.

Our main reason for travelling to Bitburg was the Brewery, it was a lifelong bucket list for me.

Parking was close.

Not much to do in Bitburg except the brewery.

Cozy and well-priced hotel with friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms

A charming and cozy hotel in the heart of Bitburg. There’s a restaurant on-site, though like many in Germany it closes fairly early. The room was clean and comfortable, with a good bed, friendly staff, and a decent breakfast. Overall, solid value for money.

Just a couple of small practical notes, not to put anyone off but simply to keep the owners informed: the TV remote batteries were dead, and while there is a parking lot nearby, it’s a bit tight to maneuver when most of the spaces are taken.

Gem of a place in Bitburg.

This is a gem in Bitburg. Must place to stay. Room was updated, clean and very comfortable.

Not a big deal to us, but we stayed in another building around the corner from the main restaurant hotel. As I said, t wasn't an issue for us, but figured I would add this to my review because some people may want to know.

Bitburg is cute, but the people and the hotel are not!

Staff at check-out was impossibly difficult and rude! The room itself was not as it appeared in the photos online; however, the room was clean. The balcony isn't private, and the building I stayed in was in a back alley separate from the main hotel. No elevators, no AC, and parking is horrendous!

Staff, parking, no AC, and having to drag my bags up 3-flights of stairs with no help.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent on-site restaurant. Modern, clean rooms belie a slightly non-descript exterior of the main accommodation block, with great views from the top floor. Secure bicycle parking in the owner's garage was appreciated

Fantastic small hotel with great food and beer!

Hotel and staff were fantastic, very helpful and tolerant of our not-so-good German (although all the staff speak English). Great rooms, very clean, great food, beer and breakfast :-) !

No air conditioning, so on a hot day it gets pretty warm in the rooms overnight. Honestly, not a big deal.

Ideal base for the Bitburger Brewery visit

Provided storage for our bikes. We ate in the hotel and it was very good and extremely popular. Very close to the Bitburger Brewery.

We were in a building around the corner from the hotel, so check in was a little faffy.

Comfort beds, old hotel, OK breakfast

Although the rooms were outdated, it was quite clean & the beds were very comfy. The hotel is centrally located in the heart of the town, walk distance to the shopping area and most restaurants. The hotel is located in a different building than the restaurant itself and you have to walk to the other building for breakfast.

The breakfast was utter chaos. The space for the buffet is very small and tight. You have to wait if a few people are getting their food. Most of the breakfast was up already at 8.30 am, and we had to wait for eggs, coffee, forks... Coffee comes separately when you ask the staff - which was just 1 person on this particular morning. It could have been just one understaffed day.

Very good

Clean spacious room with good shower room en-suite. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. The local brew was also good. Really good location for the Alt Start and the Roman fort. Nice friendly people.

We were there on 27/12 and there was a noisy group who lingered a bit near the annex (where we were staying) but that was no fault of the hotel. The sound insulation between rooms was not up to current standards but we slept well in a comfortable bed

Overpriced and old

The only thing that was good is breakfast.

It was very cold in the room and heating system was broken. Someone came to fix it, but without success. The carpet on the floor is really old and dirty, as well as the sofa. Everything in that room needs to be renovated. Also one of the windows can not be sealed properly. Because of that window and the nearby road, it was way to much noise. Overpriced!!!!
