A beautiful historic hotel in a quaint village.

Nice hotel in a beautiful historic building and located in a cozy village. The room was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very helpful, friendly, and made a great effort to meet my needs for an early breakfast (06:30). The breakfast was nice, coffe good and hot, and the dining area was pleasant and very inviting. The hotel also has ample free parking available for guests.

I didn't like that the hair drier and one of the electrical outlets next to the bed were not working. I did let the staff know about the hair drier and he said he would look into it.

Delicious breakfast great location

The breakfast was amazing. The customer service was top notch. The location is perfect for downtown Dudeldorf. The bakery is around the corner. We only stayed one night as we were there to visit friends who live in Dudeldorf. We hope to book again for the Christmas market in November. Plenty of parking since it was off season

Old style hotel in a charming village

The hotel recommended an excellent restaurant where we had a lovely dinner. The village is very sweet and picturesque and its a great location for going to the Eifel Park.

The church bells woke me up really early but that isn't the hotels fault. The curtains are a bit thin in the rooms but miraculously that didn't wake my kids up.

I lived in Dudeldorf for several years and always recommended this hotel fir friends.

it is a quaint hotel from 1700 with lots of ambience. The owners, Anita and Marc, are very hospitable and attentive to your needs. It is located in the center of the small village of Dudeldorf between the two towers (from around 1450).

Great I'd go back again and for longer

Dudeldorf is a wonderful little town and the hotel is in the old town. The breakfast was good and the beds very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful, I'd go back again and stay a little longer

The door locks were a little sticky at times.

A cozy, welcoming hotel in a charming village.

We visited family in Dudeldorf and stayed at Hotel zum alten Brauhaus for a week. It proved to be a cozy home away from home, near our family, and within walking distance of good restaurants in the charming village. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast offered a tasty and varied selection of food and beverages to begin the day. We especially enjoyed ending our busy days on the lovely garden terrace with a glass of wine or a cognac.

Our room was very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay, however, older travelers should note there is no elevator, so there will be stairs to climb.

A quaint hotel in a picturesque village

The setting was lovely. In an incredibly picturesque village with a fabulous garden.

Email responses were a bit grumpy although the staff we met in person were nice. The decor was a bit tired.

Passable

The location of the hotel is very good for making hiking tours and visit Bitburg or other Eifel attractions. Dudeldorf is a small village with 3 restaurants, Torschanke is one of them with excellent food! Also the Thai restaurant can be recommended. The owners of the hotel are friendly.

The breakfast was rather simple. The restaurant of the hotel is closed but this was not mentioned in our booking or at the website. The hotel has a nice garden but guests are not invited to stay there.

Great hotel in a beautiful village

Very old building but rooms were good and large - lots of character in this place. Excellent location in a tiny but beautiful village. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast.

Notes state there is a restaurant but this was shut when we were there - however; we were told by the staff that there was a bistro and a restaurant within easy walking distance We went the the (Italian) bistro and were not disappointed. A little tricky to navigate the narrow cobbled streets in the village but OK if you take it slowly.

Bad

I never stayed at the hotel. I booked my stay through booking.com with the free cancelation policy. My German work visa was delayed. I didn't fly to Germany on my intended date. So when I went to cancel, the hotel stated that it was to close to Easter, so they couldn't fill the vacancy in time. So they were not going to cancel my booking. Booking.com offered the hotel a compromise to only charge me 384 euro. The hotel never got back to me. But they did charge me 1,721.18 USD. For a hotel I didn't stay in.

Great

Very nice owners, nice breakfast and garden where you can sit. The building is old, obviously, but well renovated and everything worked. Plenty of parking around. The room was comfy and big, however note that you need to climb stairs. Everything very clean and enough of everything in the room (towels, paper, etc). Overall a very good experience.

Great location, within walking distance of a few restaurants. Comfortable room, easily accommodated myself, my husband and my son on a single bed. Quiet - except the bells from the church across the street!

Aangenaam en rustig verblijf

Locatie Dudeldorf Duitsland is een klein typische Duits dorpje, Hotel ligt in de dorpskern met een prachtige ruime tuin met vrachtbomen, ruim terras waar je van een heerlijk drankje kunt genieten. Hoewel wat gedateerd voel je je direct thuis in het hotel. Nederlandse eigenaar met Duitse vriendin zijn zeer gastvrij en geven je alle ruimte. Ontbijt is uitstekend. Aantal dagen in de week kan je er ook 's avonds dineren. Voor diegenen die van wandelen houdt zijn er volop mogelijkheden. Wandelroutes zijn beschikbaar in het hotel.

Info wanneer restaurant in hotel open is. Meer kan ik niet bedenken.

Für mich waren die Betten hervorragend, da weiche Matratze. Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Sehr entgegenkommend für Fahrradfahrer.

Uitgelezen stek om na een volle dag toeren op de motor bij te komen. Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst in een oude brouwerij omgetoverd tot herberg/hotel. Heerlijk gegeten, 1 menu dus geen keuze stress. Mooie ommuurde tuin waar je heerlijk kunt relaxen. Echt een aanrader. Zeer gunstige prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.
