Really cosy place near the beach. The owners are really reactive.

We didn't know that the second room was above the sauna.

The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. The host responded promptly and respected guests' needs; when we wanted to check in early to drop off our luggage, the host quickly arranged it for us. The room was fully equipped, with many board games available, and the room's decor showed that the host had put a lot of thought into providing guests with a home-away-from-home experience.

The only downside was that we couldn't find clothes hangers in the room to dry our clothes (since long-haul travelers often need to do laundry). There might have been some, but they were placed in inconspicuous locations.

This was the 11th accommodation of our two-week cycling trip through France’s Loire Valley, and our last night stop before heading to the airport. Cons: There was a strong, unpleasant smell in the bathroom, and the bed linens felt musty, as if they had been washed without detergent. The worst part, however, was the cockroaches. Unacceptable at this price. The host was also quite stressful to deal with. We received too many messages before we even arrived, and another one first thing the next morning asking us to let them know when we were leaving. It felt excessive. They did provide one useful tip about a free parking area about a 10-minute walk away, but apart from that, most of the messages were unnecessary—asking us to confirm the number and ages of the guests, sending overly detailed instructions on how to open and lock the doors, and requesting updates about our departure. Overall, we found this accommodation to be significantly overpriced for what it offered.
