Excellent location, beware—no on-site parking
The location is excellent. It is a few minutes walk from the sea, and close to the good bakery, the only supermarket in the town, not too far from a public parking. With all that, it could be very quiet, if not for the seagulls. The owner made a visible effort to speak English to us (we don't speak French), and was also doing everything she could to make us feel comfortable. As a nice gesture, she gave us a bag of (quality) sweets when we were leaving, to compensate for non-functional internet the first 2 days.
1. The rental company. The house is owned by a nice lady, hoewever it's not rented directly via Booking, but rather via two intermediary companies, French and German. As seems to be customary with such German companies, you receive a lengthy message with a single line of answer followed by 20 lines of signature for every question you ask. The German company is the one receiving your messages sent via Booking, and they didn't answer a single of our questions satisfactorily, while sending us a lot of unwanted spam (those emails with useless information and lengthy signatures).
2. The description of the property clearly states Free Parking, but the property doesn't have any place for parking at all. Even just stopping your car to unload bags may be challenging. We were advised by the owner to use the cheapest city parking, which was 50 euros per week. It was also good that the landlady told us of this 50 euro/week tarif, since information is not very obvious when you arrive at the parking.
3. After our stay, we reached out to the rental agency (via booking.com) to reimburse us those 50 euros, and got nothing back than "we are busy, please be patient and don't send us additional messages". After two weeks of waiting, we asked Booking support to help, and eventually got our money back.
4. The toilet in the first floor is very low and the flush doesn't function well.
5. When we arrived, the internet didn't function. It got broken the day before, and since we arrived on Saturday, it was not until Tuesday that it was repaired. Since we relied on it for online lessons of our kid, it was a serious inconvenience. Also, when it was working, the speed was quiet low, so video calls (again, for the lessons) were impossible and we had to cancel the lessons. The landlady was apologetic and gave us a bag of nice traditional sweets when we were leaving.

Hôte formidable, d'une extrême gentillesse. Nous étions 4 (dont 2 enfants). Le logement est très bien équipé et super bien placé. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine.
