Cosy great location

Lovely cottage, and loved the brick features etc, also cosy and warm. Great location for walking to Heptonstall and down to the river off road, so great for the dog. Would have walked to Hebden Bridge if the weather was better, but drove instead.
Nothing really, just little things like the sofa was a little tired and the dog was able to jump the small wired fence at the top.

Good location and lovely size bedrooms. Nice walks to take the dog and close to towns. Pub next door is great with good value meals.
Cold, cold, cold! Being that it's a stone walled cottage and that there was snow in patches in the fields, I would have expected that the heating would be on and the cottage warm. Unfortunately not and we froze for the first 24 hours while the internal temp crawled up to 16 degrees. There was a fire but only enough wood for one day. A real shame as the cottage is comfortable and well located.

The cottage had pretty much everything we needed for a lovely stay. Everything was very easy - checking in, comms with the manager etc. It had ample cooking equipment and we loved the spa bath! The area is really beautiful and not far from Hebden Bridge with its wonderful shops and pubs, although you'd definitely need a car to get places.
The boiler/heating was a little tricky to understand; the parking wasn't ideal - the host said there was space but there didn't seem to be an obvious one. we managed to park the van outside the house but it got in the way of the bin collection (apologies!).

Lovely stay in the cottage! Everything was cozy and well-appointed and we had such a nice time sitting around the fire with friends before we did the Cragg Vale Coiners walk the next day. Exceeded expectations

Beautiful little quirky cottage, everything provided that you could possibly need
Would have preferred to be in Hebden Bridge itself but my fault entirely for not checking exact location .. was a 20 minute bus ride but not walkable like I thought

No food, no shops, not advised of this before booking.
Amenities too far away. Too much traffic . Cottage was on a corner of 2 roads and traffic went speeding past. No where to park near cottage.

beautiful cosy cottage just on the outskirts of Hebden Bridge town. So quiet, beautiful surroundings and a fab country pub right next door!

Stayed for a local wedding. The cottage was clean and welcoming, with a cosy lounge, a well equipped kitchen, hot shower, and a giant bathtub. The local area is great, feels very remote and peaceful in the hills, but next door to a friendly pub with a good selection of drinks. Despite being remote, it's very easy to get taxis to and from the local towns of Todmorden and Hebden Bridge. There is no signal up there, but the cottage's fast WiFi is really helpful for sorting taxis.
It might look small but we stayed as a group of 4 adults and had plenty of space.

The cottage has so much potential. It’s a good size and in a great position with a regular bus service at the door and lovely views from the top of the garden.

The location was brilliant
Bathroom was tired with a broken toilet seat, with unnecessary knick knacks hanging about. The kitchen had seen better days especially the worktop around the sink. Don’t ask me about the central heating🫣. No batteries in the smoke detectors.

Good range of kitchen equipment, soft furnishings, throws etc, surface clean, some information from host, good heating and wood burner. Very quiet area. Good TV reception. May's shop (in village ) is a little star, good range of products and lovely location. We didn't use the pub next door but it looks okay
Parking at property quite tight, access to rear garden difficult due to rain as the slabs and steps were slippery in places and it is quite steep. The sofa and chairs are a bit tired, sagging cushions and dust and debris under them. Carpets worn in places. Nowhere to hang coats etc. Some of the kitchen cabinet doors need attention. The beds were creaky and the rear bedroom mattress is very soft. The front bedroom gets very light due to outside lights and the Venetian blinds with no curtains. There were a couple of slugs on the kitchen floor after the rain, I think they came in under the door as there is a gap. The jacuzzi bath is still running black dirty water after a couple of minutes. It seems the cottage just needs a bit of TLC ...

A little worn in places

Location was lovely and the host was very helpful and communicative. Beds were comfy. The cottage istelf is lovely However....
The kitchen was extremely dirty and in need of a thorough clean. Cupboards and oven filthy, kitchen tap not attached to the surface and very wobbly and there was a splatter guard hanging up (used to cover frying pans etc.), which was covered in grease!
The bathroom shower screen hadn't been cleaned and the windowsill was very dusty. The loo seat wasn't fitted properly and very wonky. The room itself also had a really unpleasant smell. No sink plug.
On the second morning we found water dripping from the light fitting in the sitting room, put buckets under and contacted the host about it. Obviously from the shower above.

The cottage was quai t and very historic
The radiator in the back bedroom was seized shut and a power socket was not secure on the wall. There was someone else's food in a kitchen cupboard and the kitchen surfaces were sticky. Outside the back door there is a water leak making the area to the garden very damp.

The neighbours were lovely. The location is nice too but certainly driving distance to facilities.
There is no kindle or logs provided for the log fire between April and September. I didn't know this until the first night when it was too late to go out so I missed a night of the log fire 🫤

The cottage is cosy and it is well equipped for making a range of food. The log fire is a lovely addition after long walks. It's a 2 mile walk into Hebden and the views are spectacular. Local friendly pub and lovely helpful neighbours.

The cottage was cosy, comfortable, clean & very well equipped with everything needed. Beds were very comfortable. Host was very responsive when we had a problem with the toilet, sorted it promptly.
Would have preferred to be within walking distance of Hebden bridge, roads not suitable for walking along so had to travel by car.

The character of the cottage is amazing. I really felt spoiled. I wanted to buy the cottage.
Not enough hours in the day to spend more time there.
