Very close to the town and the Piece Hall. The hosts are fantastic, really helpful and really quick to reply to your questions.
Parking is a bit tricky - 4 hour max stay on the street with parking meters. Limited spaces at the back of the property, on a first come first serve basis. I was lucky and got a space though.

Situated well for central Halifax, on a quiet-ish road. Easy access to the property, by way of a key-safe. Great inside space, with separate bedroom/living space (including double bed, small sofa, tv and plenty of storage space and a full-length mirror on the wall), good-sized bathroom (with sink, shower cubicle and toilet) and fully-equipped kitchen (including kitchen table and chairs, kettle, microwave, fridge-freezer and washing machine!). Very clean and tidy throughout.
No real downsides - it is a lovely apartment - but the one issue was the exterior security light (above the entry-door to the property and which faced into the bedroom) was on all night, and as the blinds were not very think it meant the room was quite lit up all night (which really affected our sleep). We couldn't find a switch for it nor any info from the host about it.

Good location, parking on road outside
Bed well used springs out of sides very noisy when moving, only one pillow each. Big hole in floor at bottom of bed.
