Location was great for us, the property was a good size and comfortable

Despite being on the main throughfare of Sowerby Bridge the noise from the road was almost un-noticeable
Perfectly warm enough with the outside tempretures being at freezing point
Great reception staff who good do no wrong and had a genuine interest in make the stay as good as one would expect
Sky TV great
Very comfortable beds
Kitchen well appointed
There were no handrails on the stairs to get to/from the bedrooms
Main bedroom was only accessible via the second bedroom
The decor was still at "work in progress" in some places - main bedroom in particular
Smell of smoke was slightly off putting despite air freshners
Most Sofas in lounge area not suitable for normal sized adults - 30cm above floor level. There was one which was great for the less mobile
No information pack explaining facillities and local attractions - did not affect my stay as we were there for a local family funeral
Could do with warning labels for the hot water taps about being hotter than some would expect
Minor electrical issue noted with a heater
Some high level cobwebs noted but overall generally very clean

Great place nicely furnished plenty of room. Nothing missing great heating and was nice cosy and comfortable close to all shops and pubs

Great location in the centre of sowerby bridge
I requested an early check in which was accepted. I messaged on the day for check in details and was told check In not until 3pm. I was told to message 15 minutes before arrival and then I would be met at the property with the keys. No one turned up. Eventually a guy came out of the shop below the property who was able to check me in. Why I wasn't told this beforehand I don't know.
The property description also gives a list of facilities that the property has one of which was an iron. I couldn't find one anywhere. I had to message for the WiFi code as there was no welcome pack. There was no TV remote only one for the sky box.
The property itself was tidy although it could do with a deep clean and a lick of paint. There were plates and cups on the draining rack which should have been put away prior to my arrival as this shows the surfaces haven't been cleaned down properly.
