We couldn’t feel comfortable for long as either hot water or heating would be gone.

It appeared fairly clean and tidy and the bedroom was nicely lovely with nice high ceilings. The bed was spread nicely too.

The toilet seat was presented to us broken on the first day we went in. Even though we reported it no one came to fix it. The heating only stayed on for short whiles then clicked out again. The water when heated would ran out quickly after one shower was taken. When boosted the water took too long to be heated up again. Sometimes we had to wait overnight. Although the cups in the cupboard appeared clean one of them was very dirty with red stains inside. Underneath the couch was a bad section of stained carpet

A greatly situated and lovely spot in Town

Loved it here, I stay in Halifax often visiting family. And it’s one of those places that feel like a home away from home really. Perfect mix of space to put your stuff and also enough decor/interior to make it feel welcoming. As an adult with Autism I have navigated my own requirements for comfort and it is unusual that hotels or other places can offer that but here, it was very easy transition and the cleanliness was greatly appreciated.

Overall this is a decent studio apartment and good value for money.

Location close to town centre, Piece Hall, train station and suited me very well. I have stayed here before so knew what to expect. Very quiet at night. Washer/dryer was great and there was a decent enough hairdryer. Well equipped kitchen and good shower.

Sofa is small and not very comfortable, bed is ok for a couple of nights but I stayed for a week and it became quite uncomfortable for me. Window doesn’t seem to close completely so although it was quite cool some nights, the fresh air coming in actually helped me sleep really well but will probably be too cold in autumn/winter. No heater or towel rail in bathroom.

A lovely stay in a smart studio apartment!

A very smart, clean and comfortable studio apartment in a great location on a fairly quiet road, away from the busy traffic further down. Within easy reach of the station and town centre, less than 10 mins on foot which was ideal. A well-equipped kitchen with everything you need.. even washing-up liquid, laundry capsules and bin liners provided. A lovely clean and compact bathroom with a really good shower over the bath! All in all, a great stay and a perfect base for the week to explore Halifax and surrounding towns.

The only things that let the place down was having no towel rail or hook to hang your wet towels after a shower.. I ended up draping them over the dining chairs to dry each day! Similarly, there was no clothes airer provided to dry clothes on if you wanted to use the washing machine during longer stays. It would've been handy to have used it as I was staying for a week during a heatwave!

Wouldn’t stay here again - had to move rooms.

The company let us check in earlier and check out later.

The first apart (no 25) was disgusting. The carpet had stains all over, I didn’t want to take my shoes off. The place hadn’t been hoovered and the kitchen was also dirty (the hob and sides). We paid £330 to stay for 2 nights which was already really expensive for Halifax. After ringing and complaining to Sally from the company, she moved us rooms, she was great and very helpful. The next room was a lot better.

We actually booked and paid via booking.com for a one bed appartment and arrived to find it was a studio. Still had no response from booking.com re refund The outside of the property is covered in black and red paint (red paint is new as we stayed in the block in December) obviously there is an issue here! No hot water in the evening Bin had not been emptied, no washing up liquid so we had to leave our cups etc. assuming they had not been washed properly before as they were on the rack WiFi intermittent in the studio (basement) The floorboards in the upstairs room need fixing, really loud and at 6.15am not what you need! These were as is when we stayed in this room in December! Needs sorting

The location was great, walkable to everything but enough out of the way to sleep quietly. Spacious interior, cute decor.

Very little hot water for the shower/bath, despite reaching out and following the instructions to hit boost, etc. This was a huge issue to have three children and myself to bath. Also-to pay for 7 nights and receive one toilet roll, two trash bags, and one paper towel roll was obviously insufficient. For the price, there should be enough for the entire stay.

Clean, safe and tidy.

The property was nice and clean inside and comfortable. The door was secure and the property felt safe inside and was quiet. It was easy to walk to local amenities from the property which was close to the main attraction 'Peace Hall'.

The exterior of the property looked poor and it had paint thrown and splattered all over it extending to the public path and did not look very inviting. The TV didn't work correctly due to remote batteries and problems. There was a small balcony type extended sill outside the window, but there was to way to lock the sitting area window from the inside. The iron left a mark on my wife's dress after use. The bath plug needed to be forced out with a knife as the release method did not work.

It had everything you could need for a self catered stay, the size of the room and bathroom were perfect

If I had to think of something I didn’t like, it would just be that the radiator made some noises during the night which occasionally woke us up.

Disappointing.

There isnt enough hot water to run a bath, even if you boost the water heating. The best you can expect is lukewarm bath or a very shallow hot bath. I tried to report this on the first day but got no response during my stay.

Great modern apartment in the middle of Halifax

(The only minor issue to mention) As it was hot we had the windows open. However during the night the road is busy & noisy, so not ideal if you want a quiet nights sleep (but I guess you should expect that in the centre of a town)

We got changed to an apartment with one single bed in tha second room rather than a double or two singles as I had booked. While we got a discount in the end, it was an absolute battle. Apartment was also extremely hot and hard/impossible to even open windows to cool it down and no fan.

Lovely apartment to stay at to explore Halifax.

Really nice flat in apartment block. Well equipped for self catering. Had everything we needed and was clean. We stayed for a week and felt safe and at home. Great location close to Halifax centre and to walk to attractions.

It did not come with parking. There are places to park nearby but needed to re-pay daily prior to 8am. So was not ideal to park for the week. Was a bit complicated on how to dispose of rubbish and no clear recycling.

Enjoyable stay in Halifax

The apartment was beautiful and really spacious. It was in a great location for walking into town. The apartment was really comfortable. It was well equipped with all of the things we needed.

On the email confirmation it gave a code for a padlock on the carpark gate, on arrival we couldn't find the carpark and the only gate with a lock had a key padlock on it. We called for assistance but we weren't given any help. We had to park in a car park down the road. We couldn't get any channels on the TV so we had to watch Netflix, which wasn't ideal as we were travelling with a child. There was a slightly funny smell in the apartment but this became less noticable over time.

Lovely apartment, great onsite management

Whilst we had a few issues in the apartment, Orla was easy to contact and resolved these issues really quickly. She was friendly, helpfull and really made our stay fantastic.

The deposit was reserved and released on a weekly basis. Given that this was on an international card, it resulted in additional banking charges and continually changing deposit amount due to exchange rates.
