Great facilities for a small family

Warm, comfy, clean space with all the necessary amenities for our excursion. Exactly what we needed.

Location. Near Lidl, petrol station and KFC with a Pizza place across the road, a pub next door and a Chinese Takeaway a few 100 metres away. Easy access to where I needed to go in West Yorkshire. Good public transport links into Halifax Town. Near some good historical sites. Much closer that I thought. We visited the Dean clough Mill which was located minutes away and explored the Museum. A real treasure. It was a good find. In terms of the stay, the shower was very nice. the bathroom was nicely tiled and spacious. The Super King size bed was a treat. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment to whip up large or small meals.

I did not receive the keysafe code in advance nor on departure, but was put in touch with the contact who was very attentive and on hand at short notice to check us in and out. There was a strange arrangement for the Wifi code access. The heating was not turned on in advance considering we had arranged an arrival time. The place was very cold on arrival and it took a while to heat up the apartment as those old brick walls are thick. Once the heating was addressed by the contact we were able to control the heating for the duration. It was very warm and cozy from that point onward for the week.

They thought of everything!

They thought of everything. It's a really well laid out flat that feels larger than it appears outside. It has everything we needed and it all looks smart and new. We were there to see Doves, at The Piece Hall so it was a good location for that. It's a bit long for a walk back, post gig so our friend, who we were sharing with, drove us into the town centre. Parking is plentiful. Vijay, the landlord, kept in touch and answered questions quickly, even calling the day before to make sure everything was set. He is very helpful. It's quite close to Shibden Hall.

It was very close to a busy road so it was noisy in the living room but the bedrooms were quiet and we slept well.

Lovely accommodation 2nd stay and will be back again

This is our second stay at the accommodation which we use when visiting family as we live out of town, and we will be back again. The accommodation is clean, spacious and good value for money. Lovely spacious bathroom with a deep bath and lovely kitchen with a washer as a bonus. The owners are quick to respond about any questions and communication is good. Towels and bedding provided as well as cups, plates, a vacuum cleaner, mop and a clothes airer, washing up liquid etc

Would be handy to have a tin opener in kitchen drawer as we brought some tins we couldn't use but that is very very minor thing and wasn't something that would put us off.

Great place

Great position to get into Halifax. Easy 20 minute walk. Hill walk but nothing too difficult unless you struggle walking. Parking is very easy with plenty of quiet side roads to park on. Sandwich shop and off licence literally across the road. Further down towards Halifax there are plenty of takeaways nearby as well as Lidl. We will definitely stay again when we have another trip to Halifax.

There was no what to, how to manual, although we didn't really need one, it would be helpful for other guests staying there. This may simply have been an oversight. They did message details over messages of what was needed to be done though, so no big deal, things were easy to do anyway.

Excellent place

Very welcoming , comfortable and clean, had a great stay, very friendly and looked after me when I had a problem , close to town to walk it, close to bus stop and everything you need . The lady so friendly and amazing , would love to stay here again

"Ver. fine days" in Halifax also thanks to this apartment

The apartment was exactly as shown in the previews. The kitchen (equipment and cupboards) and bathroom were clean and well kept, w/ soap and towels. The bedrooms and the sofa bed in the sitting room were fine and clean too. Communicating with the owner before our arrival was easy, and they were always quick and helpful when replying. Close to the apartment (5 min. walk) there's also a LIDL supermarket for any needs. Reaching Halifax town centre takes a 10 min. walk. All in all a very positive experience. Even for a short stay, we enjoyed the apartment very much and would recommend it.

Just a couple of things might improve the experience: the frame of the small window in the smaller bedroom could be better insulated, as there was a constant draught, and maybe some blackout curtains could be added to the windows, since the white venetian blinds didn't help to sleep well in the morning.

lovely place to stay, good amenities, good location.

very spacious, comfortable bed, good location, pub on the corner was friendly and welcoming.

neighbours loud and banging upstairs late at night, bathroom smelled like sewerage so kept the window open and it was fine thereafter, lots of rubbish around the entrance, non smoking facilities but someone had been smoking in there and had left all the ash in the kitchen sink on arrival.
