A really lovely apartment complex in a converted cinema!

The apartment was clean and spacious, the carpets were soft and luxurious and it was fairly soundproof. It was well equipped in the kitchen with lovely, soft towels for the bathroom. Everything worked well and the organisation was spot on. Good WiFi signal and a good TV wth all the apps and plenty of seating in the living room including a dining area. Additionally, as we stayed over Christmas, the radiators gave out a really decent amount of heat. The area had a lot of amazing takeaways and restaurants including a Chai takeaway in the car park! Around the corner is Dixons ice cream, open until 10pm as well as the highly rated Shoulder of Mutton pub. Just up the road is a small Morrisons in one direction and a Premier shop in the other which cover most needs, and in the centre of Huddersfield, easily accessible, is Sainsbury's.

It may be worth taking your own oven gloves as these weren't provided. Additionally, I feel lamps in the bedrooms (on a beside table or small shelf) and living room would be a huge improvement as the 'big lights' were far too bright for relaxation.

It was ok, I wouldn’t book agein sorry. In my opinion it was not worth what I paid and I was disappointed in general.

The washing machine and kitchen was great, very helpful. The cleaning lady was very friendly and helpful

A few things In extreme heat there was no fan and minimal windows that Diddnt open very wide so sleeping was extremely hot and uncomfortable There were burn marks in the carpet The flat smelt like weed when entering and lingerd for a few days You can constantly hear noise and one morning from 8am to about 9am there was loud basey music playing The location wasn’t great When booking the first flat we had “7” did not look like the photos at all even through we booked what we saw in the pictures thinking that would be the case, for the same money flat 7 is extreamly small and there is no dining table, and the sofas in the kitchen are very cluttered, after trying to ring the owner we got through and he apologised and changed us to flat 8 whitch did look like the photos, however it smelt like weed and had burn marks in carpets. For a 5 day stay between two people you only get two toilet rolls and that’s it. You have to buy your own after this. No hoover to hover carpets No housekeeping for duration on stay

It would have been helpful to have a basic guide to setting shower. At first we couldn’t get it to flow hot but managed to find the instructions on line - it’s all about fine tuning!

Nice apartments in Huddersfield

Loved how modern the apartments were and the wifi was good! It was close to a bus stop and if you like walking it was not that long of a walk to the city. I recommend this if you plan to stay in hudderfield

It was close to the road. I'm a light sleeper and that woke me up. But that's not the hosts fault. I wish there was an electric fan for hot days.

Not a lot

Check in was from 3-4 on wards. We finished work and tried to check in but didn’t send the code to check in and was no answer for over 2 hours when trying the contact numbers. Shower was awful and stopped working, Wi-fi was a bonus when it worked. The owner of this property was about much use as a chocolate fire guard

We just had one bad feeling, i think there is a ghost living these, we felt that sombody were taking a shower in our bathroom. None of us were doing that and we heard a lof of special voices in night time between 03.00-04.00. Wery weird noices. First day When we went to toilet there were pop on the side

It was very annoying that there was no WiFi. I would have paid extra money for it. Do not claim it is available if it is not!!! I found it said that the kitchen just had 4 cups, 4 glasses etc. If you stay with 4 people it would have been helpful to have more plates, cups and glasses.

Some properties give a welcome kit like tea coffee and sugar or juice as an compliment but this didn't have it. Hence it's nice to have them considering the cold weather ☺️

Clean throughout and what mattered to us most was the bedding which was clean. Overall a excllent stay. If needed would definately stay here again as convenient and pricing was very good.

Parking was a worry as unsure if a parking fine would be issued as the parking situated at the location is privately run. As long as you unload for your stay quickly and exit loading again quickly your vehicle it should be fine. We found a nearby street literally 2 minutes walk to park our vehicle for our duration at Alpha Lofts.

Overall , pleased with our stay , BUT something needs to be done about the parking situation.

It was very clean. We liked the security of storing our door key safely in the building when we went out.

The location! 😞. The noise was very bad at times from the other apartments and outside the building , especially at night. The front door slamming at night was terrible. There is no proper parking available and we were forced to search for a relatively’ safe ‘ place for our hired car at night. The street outside is absolutely not adequate or safe for parking for residents of the property ( as was advised ) . We were constantly worried about the safety of our hired car. The road/street outside is extremely busy.
