Middle of town centre, I loved my stay at City Break Parkview for its central location, clean comfortable rooms, and great value for money. I had a great stay at City Break Parkview. The property was very clean, tidy, and well maintained, making it a comfortable place to stay. The manager was extremely professional, respectful, and easy to communicate with. They responded quickly to all my questions, were very understanding and accommodating, and even went the extra mile by offering additional discounts. Their helpful and decent approach really made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended! I arrived very late at night, but the manager was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering all my questions and making sure I settled in without any issues.

The fact that when I arrived to gain access I was informed it was a shared accommodation and it was most certainly NOT advertised clearly as one, and there being NO on-site parking like it stated it had. Not easy to find either, and had an untidy/dirty access and entrance.

We didn't bother staying as did not feel secure & not as described

The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the city.

Nothing in the description lead me to believe that someone else would be staying in the apartment. When we I got there I opened the lock box for the keys, but only had a key for the top lock and what turned out to be they key to our bedroom, not for the deadlock which was engaged. After much fiddling with keys someone eventually came from inside and opened the door introducing themselves as the other person who lived there before shuffling off back to their room. I opened the door to my room, and the room smelt odd, I was unable to lock it behind me, and I didn't bother checking out the rest of the apartment (although I could see there was a decent sized living room). We couldn't find the £1.80 per day parking either, and as I had already decided I wasn't going to stay here I didn't bother calling the owner to find out where it was! I am disappointed at the misleading description - I could have coped with a shared bathroom but our own exclusive studio apartment especially as we were only staying one night, but not sharing with a complete stranger in a room with very flimsy locks, and running the risk of finding ourselves locked out again when we returned after the gig and socialising with friends.

Everything! The building was dingy and smelly, on entrance they was people hanging around who looked very unfriendly! the room was unclean, smelly and the rest of the apartment was the same, no amenities e.g tv, kettle, toilet roll!! and wasn’t stated at booking it was a shared apartment with just a small rubbish lock fitted onto the bedroom door for privacy and safety! I left the apartment at 4am as I could hear people talking in the outer apartment and made me feel really uncomfortable! And the bed felt like a million people had slept in there before me hence why I left as I couldn’t settle to even sleep!!

The apartment wasn't cleaned : bed sheets had human stains, towels were already used and still wet, and there was visible dirt under the bed and on the tables. The windows couldn’t be opened, and with no fan or air conditioning, the room was hot and stuffy all night. To make things worse, the apartment is shared with another room, and at 5 a.m. we were woken by loud knocking from guests who couldn’t get in. The blinds were on the desk and not working. There was zero attention to cleanliness, comfort, or basic hospitality. I strongly recommend avoiding this property – it is nowhere near the standards promised.
