Simple yet convenient

Staff were very friendly. The location is right next to a tram stop, so it's easy to get back into the city centre. I went for a gig at the venue Die Kantine which is a ten minute walk away. Very convenient as the venue is very tucked out of the way and there are essentially no other hotels or shops nearby. The breakfast was also nice too, with the bread and pastries all freshly baked each morning in the bakery the guest house is part of.

The beds were not the comfiest, and my room was very hot when I came in. I had to leave the windows open. I wasn't entirely a fan of the "digital key", as it meant that if my phone died, I wouldn't be able to get into my room. Staff didn't seem to be around often- I never saw anyone at the reception desk- but when they were around they were very friendly.

From my experience this is the cheapest hotel in Cologne for how accessible it is to the main city. The tra, station is literally right outside the door. You will be by the Hansaring station in 20 minutes, Main station or Messecenter by 30. Don't let the distance scare you.

I mean you are at the mercy of DB and KVB with all the qwerks and delays.

A very good place to stay and all staff were excellent, the bakery is a real bonus!

Communicaton before stay was very good and arrangements for late check in were accommodated. Breakfast was very good.

Although hotel is conveniently located next to U-Bahn station it is still 30 mins to get into centre of Cologne.

It's a nice and affordable accommodation for a short business trip.

Room was small but warm, comfortable, quiet and apparently clean. I was given a code so i could check in late. Everything went OK. Breakfast was good, many choices available, I was offered scrambled eggs and other extras. The hotel has a much sought after bakery. There is a tram station right outside the hotel that can take you to the most important places in Cologne.

A mini fridge would be very useful in the room, there is nothing to drink, you should take your own water.

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt.

WLAN wurde nicht genutzt, daher meine Antwort nicht zutreffend. Das Hotelpersonal war wie immer sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück ist für den Preis hervorragend. Auch ein vorzeitiges Beziehen des Zimmers war möglich, top.

Ich hätte mir eine härtere Matratze gewünscht, habe aber trotzdem sehr gut geschlafen.

War super, unkompliziert. Sehr gerne wieder!

Sehr gute Lage, direkt an der Tram-Station und nur entspannte ~10 min von der Kantine (Konzertstätte) entfernt. Werde für einen weiteren Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das Hotel ist nicht unnötig riesig & sehr niedlich. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich eingerichtet und man kann die Türe abschließen - hat mich gleich sicherer fühlen lassen und besser schlafen lassen. Außerdem war der digitale Check-in/-out mit digitaler Schlüsselkarte sehr praktisch.

Die Nähe zum Event war ausschlaggebend, man muss bei Ausstattung und Ruhe starke Abstriche machen.

Frühstücksbüffet war gut. Nähe zum Venue o.k. Personal war aufmerksam.

Das Waschbecken war in einem Zwischenraum untergebracht; nicht im Bad. In diesem gab es eine Badewannen/Duschkombination mit angeschimmelter Duschdichtung, gesplitterten Kacheln und dreckigen Bodenfliesen und Badezimmertür. Unmittelbare Nähe zur Bahnlinie mit regelmäßigem Zughalt war deutlich zu hören.

Für uns praktisches Hotel, um schnell zur "KantIne" zu gelangen.

--- der Duft der frischen Backwaren, der morgens das Haus durchströmt.

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und besitzt keine Klimaanlage. Bei hochsommerlichen Temperaturen hatten wir ein Zimmer, auf das den ganzen Tag die Sonne schien. Ein Aufenthalt im Zimmer war gar nicht möglich.

Schönes Hotel mit einer normalen Ausstattung toll ist der Bäcker direkt im haus. Neben dem sehr freundlichen Personal hat mir das Frühstück gut gefallen. Zwar keine Riesenauswahl aber alles was man braucht war vorhanden

Na ja das Hotel kommt so allmählich in die Jahre, leider hat man keine Gastronomie mehr im Haus und der fehlende Aufzug macht sich natürlich auch bemerkbar
