Decent place with a good rate with some shortcomings due to its location.

Affordable place a few kilometers from the old town. Very kind stuff, clean rooms, ok breakfast. Nothing to complain about but not great either.

It's tricky to find a parking slot as it is a residential area without a public garage nearby. A bit noisy as it is close to a big road with traffic and there is no air condition, so sleeping with open windows in summer might not be an option.

Friendly place

Very friendly and relaxed place around outskirts of the center, away from the crowds. My one person room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Even had a ventilator to keep cool. Bathroom was quite spacious and well equipped. Coffee machine in the hallway was a great extra.

Hotel Cologne 2020: Friendly Staff and Clean Rooms

I've had a wonderful stay at Hotel Köln 2020! It's definitely worth mentioning how friendly and hospitable the staff were; they instantly made you feel welcome and were always respectful. It was also nice that they tried to speak English, which isn't always the case everywhere. The relaxed atmosphere throughout the entire hotel made me feel right at home, and the room was spotlessly clean. And a big plus: no curfew hassle, which gives you a lot of freedom. I would definitely come back here!

Areas for Improvement / Suggestions My only minor suggestion for improvement, which could benefit future guests, is related to the room's electricity. It would have been helpful if they had proactively asked if it was my first time staying in a hotel, or briefly explained the principle of inserting the key card into the wall slot to activate the electricity. It's a small detail, but it could save new guests a moment of confusion upon arrival.

Welcoming and Friendly

Really friendly staff creating a nice atmosphere. Room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Easy access to public transport to get into the city.

The tea and coffee facilities were in the hallway and unfortunately were switched off in the late evening (probably because of the noise the machine makes) this meant there was no hot water available for a late night cup of tea!

I think that I cannot complain for anything. Room was clean and cozy, breakfast was tasty. I can recommend.

All staff what I met were friendly and kind. I had a lot of option to choose what I want for breakfast.

Price was little bit higher but probably because of Gamescom, which was in same date. :)

Fantastic.

The rooms were modern and spacious. The staff were super hospitable and my stay was wonderful. The restaurant downstairs is a 10-stars for me. The Argentina steak was delicious...memories are made of this and I'll definitely be back there again ;)

Very comfortable beds, nice facilities and - although a bit further from Messe Köln - good commute. It takes like <20min via public transport. For breakfast was a lot of to choose from & everything was delicious.

Short business trip to Cologne

Small, no frills hotel in the Weidenpesch city district, close to the horse racecourse. Very friendly staff, easy access at night with key cards, open fridge with different kinds of soda at the lobby, rooms look and feel new and modern. Really nice breakfast buffet! Location is in rather close proximity to buses and the Cologne underground street car system. Ask for parking options when arriving by car, as it might not be so easy to find a spot.

TV had no signal, but wasn't important, so forgot to ask for the reason. Slight bathroom odor at times. May be due to old plumbing.

The location is further from city, in case you are going for city break but easily accessible by public transport. I stayed before joining Megamarsch and I found the location handy. There was mosquito in my room, which woke me up, nets in the window would have been nice to prevent it in case this is area with mosquitos.

Extremely friendly staff, cute boutique hotel.

Breakfast was great, and the little room I had was very comfy. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I thought it was a really nice touch that there was a small section of the hotel where the cleaning ladies were able to sell jewelry and other small items. It shows their kindness!

Ibhave not noticed that there are not elevators and I have a serious trouble on my knees. They promptly helped me tibarrange an accessibke lovely room. The welcoming sweet is just so sweet.to find over your pillow, and confort things for your feet.... Silvana and everyone in that hotel are so amazing. After a bad experience in Bonn .. find myself at this hotel reciver the bad impression I had on German hotels. Thanks to Köln 2020!!! When I have vacations I will surelly come vack with more time for enjoyment.

Hidden gem in Koln!

I was very gladly impress with the hotel. Mr. Cacciapuoti is soooo incredible nice welcoming. So als the rest of the family (I assume it was his faily...otherwise he treats employees as family! :) Everyone was extreamly nice and helpful. The room was spotless! They go beyond expectations, for example when you enter the room you find a personalized (hand written) welcome card and a chocolate, so lovely touch! The restaurant downstairs is absolutely delicios for a nice dinner (only downside they close relatively close -10pm-) but food is superb! The train station is very close (5mins walk or less) and it is only 2 or 3 stops to the city center. The hotel offers a car park platz for a decent price per day, so is very convinent to leave the car there and go to the city center with the S-Bhan. The brakefast was delicious. A very nice variety of meets, bread, fresh made scramble eggs, juice, yougurth,etc. I will defenitively come back! It is s gem!

Would be nice that the restaurant closes a bit later at least until 11pm but I understand is also a quite area so is understandable. Not a big deal tho.

Room was very clean and even though it had a window to a busy street, it was very quiet. Good breakfast. Staff was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
