Ideal location, major attractions are just minutes away by foot.

Great location, easy to get to by car, and underground parking is available. Room had a big TV and shower was good.

Not a lot of room for storage, vanity in bathroom was small.

Rooms do not have a fridge (there is one at the reception anyways, so it is not a problem). Also the room is not the biggest but has enough space for 2 people to move freely.

My stay was amazing

Super modern and clean. Water pressure amazing. Beds really comfortable. Walking distance to all major things. Surrounded by really good affordable restaurants.

The location is great by walking from the main station. There are many options for eat and drink. Also, the hote lobby is perfect for chill and drink something.

The rooms could be just a little bit larger, but it is quite Ok for the price.

The place is an absolute scam, stay away!!

Close to city center.

Ok lets take things from the beginning. Paid 835 euro for 3 nights here. Arrived the first day, the bathroom in the room STUNK sewage and we mentioned that to the reception. The bedsheets were full of stains and hair and did not look clean at all. They said that someone will come check. Of course nobody came. Then we tried to have a bath. Water was getting hot up to certain point (medium temperature) when tried to increase temperature, the temperature was not stable. It was rising to extremely hot for 10 seconds, burned us and them dropped again. As a result we could not have a bath! We again communicate this with the reception and asked to change a room. The person at the reception LIED to us that the hotel was full and they could not change us a room. After i got a bit angry they managed to change us a room (found a room out of the blue). The second night again we tried to have a bath and the issue was same in the new room. Once again i went to the reception mentioned what happened and asked them to check me out, refund me so that i can go someplace else where I COULD ACTUALLY HAVE A BATH like a decent human being. They LIED TO UA ONCE MORE and mentioned that this was a central issue. Of course they DID absolutely nothing! I called booking asking for help and once again they did nothing! The third day i got a call from the manager, asking me what happened after multiple emails sent both to booking and their establishment. I explained to him, we met at the hotel and claimed that nobody informed him about the whole issue. He stated that we will try to find a resolution for everything that happened. After leaving the hotel, they send me a credit of 83 euro (LOL) not even the 1/10 of money i paid to stay at this mediocre place where we were not able to wash ourselves for three days! Lastly breakfast includes 3-4 different type Of cold cuts, 3 types of bread and some cold scrabbled eggs. Nobody deserves such a behaviour, nor the right to have a decent bath.

Location is super nice!

The location is really convenient, and the staff are really friendly in explaining everything. They served the free coffee and water from 11 pm to 11 am.

Disappointing

I had contacted Urban Loft Hotel in Cologne beforehand to let them know I’d be arriving in the evening. Unfortunately, when I got there, I had to wait around 40 to 50 minutes because there was a problem with the check-in system. By the time we were finally helped, we were completely exhausted. When I wanted to take a shower, I was disappointed to find it wasn’t clean, and the water pressure was very weak. On top of that, Netflix on the TV didn’t work either. The pillows on the bed were also quite uncomfortable. I asked if we could get an upgrade, but the staff member said she wasn’t authorized to arrange that. Overall, the hotel looks nice, but sadly, it didn’t meet my expectations. A disappointing experience.

Good location, near train station and Cathedral

The hotel is located just a 15 minute walk from the beautiful Cologne Cathedral and the train station. The room is comfortable, with a cosy bed and an excellent bathroom space featuring a pleasant shower. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff were kind. Breakfast is good, with a nice range of options. I truly recommend it.

Great for business trips and working.

Very comfortable and convenient for working. Good facilities - coffee, gym, outdoor seating area, good wifi etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, spoke my language well.

There was a problem with my room's air-con, but the staff changed by room without any fuss. I know it was GamesCom, but the price was very very high.

Good but not 4 star, wouldn't recommend the location either

Rooms were very clean and spacious and beds fairly comfortable. The hotel is modern and have all the modern requirements for a pleasent stay. Located close to the train station.

Not having tea, coffee or water in the rooms is unusal for a 4 star hotel. The bar was never really staffed and you did have to wait a while to be served. The showers were very powerful which was good but also flooded the bathroom if you weren't careful. Checking in took a really long time which after travelling all day isn't ideal. The area the hotel is in isn't the safest and even the waitress in a local restaurant told us it was a hotspot for drug and alcohol abuse.

Great for 48 hour stay

Room was very nicely decorated, felt fresh and welcoming. Both the bathroom and room were very clean and not cluttered with too much furniture. Staff were great, I had a problem with my adaptor and they gave me another to resolve it

Bathroom lacked a bit of shelf/space to set things down. Small area at back of sink - dint allow space to leave toiletries to grab at hand. Shower flooded easily after use, fine for me as a lone traveller but if two people were using it would have been a problem. Shower head also wouldn't stay up. Missing a full length mirror too.

Very good hotel and service in reception

Comfy, clean!, good looking design. All very welcoming. As I asked, the guy in reception gave us a quiet room to sleep well. And he did. The room was very quiet. I didn't hear nothing during the night. No noise. In the morning I asked some questions about the city and the guys in the reception elaborated on everything with patience. From the roof we could see the huge church. See enclosed photos from the hotel. Location- close to the center. 15 min' slow walk from the huge church and 10 from nice restaurants.

The elevator- every time you use it, you have to use the keycard. This is irritating AF to reach it every time in the pocket. Coz you can't rise to floor 5 for example if you live in 3. For what? +if ppl from different floors enter the lift, you get mixed up. No fridge in the room. Good that I didn't order the breakfast. Looked too simple for the price. But I don't care about this. The view of the church from the roof was way smaller than expected from the photos on the site showing the view from the rooms. If it were important for me, I would be disappointed.

Nice modern hotel and near to train station, cathedral and shopping area.

Modern design of the apartment and rooms, comfortable bed and bathroom. It has a good locations to the train station, cathedral and shopping area. The drink can be taken from the ground floor unlimited and free. The ground floor has a modern design and has a lot of seats to hand out. Car park is chargeable but is fair and quite easy to get in and out.

Very Nice

Great location, friendly staff, and a perfectly quiet room with ideal temperature. Loved the free sparkling water and coffee available all day—such a nice touch!

The room was superficially cleaned, but overall acceptable. I had prepaid for parking, though it wasn’t guaranteed due to the lot being nearly full at all times. Thankfully, the staff were helpful—they either made space or provided alternative parking free of charge.

Comfortable stay at very good value

Rooms The rooms are spick and span as it’s shown on the photos. All the basics are available. Breakfast My family enjoyed the breakfast. A fair variety on the offerings. Location The location is at walking distance to the train station and to tourist spots. The rooftop view is such a treat. Last but not the least, Staff are very accommodating and helpful especially the ones at reception! Made the stay so much more pleasurable.

Overpriced and Underwhelming

The location is fairly convenient, not far from Cologne Cathedral. The room was clean.

The room was very small, and there was no refrigerator. Although the Cologne Cathedral could be seen in the distance, the direct view from the window was of a railway and run-down surroundings. The shower gel and shampoo were of low quality, and the beds were uncomfortable. Overall, it was very overpriced for the level of service provided.

There's free coffee and tea downstairs from 23:30-11:30, which is nice. For people who turn in early and would like a tea before bedtime, a kettle in the room would be nice.

Free coffee and tea was good. Location was good. Kids loved the ball pit. This seems to also double up as a co-working space. Lots of urban hipsters.

Great location, nice & cozy place

Walking distance from the train station, the river, some attractions and many good restaurants. We were surprised with the relaxed atmosphere. Room was beautiful and comfortable, good size window so day light and the breeze were great. The box breakfast was amazing!! more food that what we expected. The front desk staff friendly and helpful.
