Excellent host and great location to explore Chester

George was a fantastic host, very attentive and helpful. He answered questions sent through beforehand including recommended places for dinner and advice to book ahead, which we're glad we did. He kindly let us check in early straight from the train, which was very much appreciated after a delayed journey with unexpected changes. The room was cosy and the bed very comfortable. The welcome drink and chocolates were lovely touches and much appreciated. The bathroom was a tad chilly but plentiful hot water in the large rainfall shower and George has thought of everything, supplying every toiletry you might need in case you have forgotten something, as well as robes and slippers for comfort. The breakfast was delicious, lots of choice both continental and cooked. Especially enjoyed the selection of fruit. We were well looked after and enjoyed our stay. Perfect location for visiting the city, just a 10 minute walk to the centre, as well as a lovely park right across the road and a short walk down to the river.

breakfast was amazing everything you could have asked for, and the cooked breakfast was freshly made and extremely hot. George is so frendly and went out of his way to make everything comfortable for us, even moving his own car and giving us the car parking space.

My wife and i travelled as a couple and had an overnight stay in Chester, George is an excellent host, with a fabulous property, we had a lovely stay and were made very welcome, Park view is central to everything , pubs , town centre, river etc, the room has a very comfortable double bed, and is peaceful aand quiet, with tea, coffee, snacks, hairdryer TV, clothes storage and everything you might need provided, the private bathroom is seperate, but just next door, also with all you might need including a large walk in shower. The breakfast was wonderful and plentiful, overall a great stay in the ideal location.

Absolutely lovely stay... Wonderful home-cooked and substantial breakfast, lots of good things, beautifully served; the bed was so comfy we didn't want to get out of it, and the apartment felt very cosy. Loved the way you provided all the useful and thoughtful little touches for the guests, even in the bathroom. Wonderful location as well, a 3-4 minutes Walk away from the main street and shopping area. Thank you George!

What a find. Only expected a room for the night but a room with so much more George was a wonderful host and nothing was too much trouble The breakfast was exceptional there is a personal touch which makes this place stand out I would highly recommend this place and we had more than the price suggested

Super Bed and Breakfast

We spent a lovely overnight here before travelling to Holyhead and home to Ireland. We often stop off in Chester before travelling home. it makes the drive a bit more manageable. George was our host and he couldn't have been kinder or more attentive to our needs. There were lots of extras for the guests including robes and slippers and drinks in the room and toothbrushes in the bathroom. George was helpful with the luggage and gave us advice on restaurants. We parked outside the house, it was very convenient as the road is a busy one. The breakfast was delicious and it had everything you could possible need, fruit, cereals, and full English. Cleanliness was exceptional, we had everything that was needed in our room. Attention to detail from our arrival till leaving was brilliant. Breakfast was superb , fresh with lots of choices . Our host goerge was lovely & went above & beyond to make our stay very pleasant 😊

George is the most fabulous host, he went above & beyond. We couldn't fault this place , it's immaculate, so central , everything there you could possibly want & more , the comfiest pillows I've ever used , the most delicious, plentiful breakfast & the best welcome. Tastefully furnished in an ideal location with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was quite honestly one of the best I have ever had. You are literally spoilt for choice with the best ingredients.

Parking could be a problem due to its location but George has it covered for £5 a night.. A dressing table in the bedroom would be more beneficial instead of two wardrobes.

BEST PLACE FOR REAL HOSTING EXPERIENCE IN CHESTER

Probably one of the best experiences of my life. George is very friendly and attentive to every detail. The breakfast is amazing – fresh fruit, drinks, newspapers, and of course, a full English breakfast. The place is located right in front of one of the most charming parks in town. Highly recommended!

We had an amazing stay. George is an exceptional host who goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and valued. The room and location are fantastic, but it's all the extra details that made it so special. George provided us with welcome drinks, gave us excellent tips for eating out, provided treats in the room on arrival, and set up the room with additional treats and other touches while we were out at the pub. We had an excellent night's sleep in quiet comfort. Breakfast in the morning was phenomenal, with incredible variety and attentiveness. Great sleep, great food, great chat. Absolutely nothing was left out. Thanks so much, George, for a truly memorable stay.

A lovely place in a lovely location!

The breakfast was beautifully presented and a variety of cereals, fruits and Greek yogurt and full English. Location is ideal .. just a few minutes walk to the town centre and The Rows. Room was very comfortable and bathroom modern and a large selection of soaps and shampoos. Parking right outside the house.

I wouldn't put it as a dislike more of a caveat. If you have mobility issues you may want to discuss this with the host, George. The stairs to our room are steep so step carefully. It's part of the charm but a quick chat could resolve this.

Great location for a stroll along the river or into the City centre. Very comfortable bed and powerful shower. Fantastic breakfast with a lot on offer and a charming host. A perfect little gem in the centre of Chester

Absolutely everything! This B&B is a little gem, from the complimentary wine, beer, water and snacks on arrival to the sumptuous breakfast. George the host made us so welcome and gave us advice and tips for dinner reservations and was lovely to just chat with. Based in a perfect location literally 2 mins from the centre this is all you need for a comfortable stay in lovely Chester.

Most enjoyable, so glad we met George, the perfect host.

Pleasant room with a huge ensuite but not within the room just outside down two steps at the top of the stairs. We found the host, George, to be extremely accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. Attention to detail throughout the accommodation. Parking is in the road directly outside. Breakfast was amazing, George had thought of everything. Only a short walk into the main shopping centre. Highly recommend.

We found the steep stairs a little daunting, but in saying that it is only one flight and we are not used to stairs at all.
