A lovely rural experience in a sweet setting!

I liked the setting… a beautiful small farm with animals. EVI the bus had a great history, and was quirky and fun. My hosts were welcoming and friendly.

The farming in my car took me to the wrong location, so maybe some directions from the hosts would help. The bus could have been aired out a bit better, and a fly strip would have been welcome. But my stay was wonderful in spite of these small issues.

John and Andrea are very friendly and helpful. Evi has everything we needed and was very comfortable. Surrounded by lots of animals and friendly dog Brumo made us happy and relaxed.

Evi is Great

Andrea and John have a wonderful setup and location, Evi was everything we thought and more. The animals are specifically worth mentioning as it's a treat to sit and watch them frolicking in the paddock. Wonderful stay and highly recommend it.

Fanbloodytastic, would definitely escape to Evi again, highly recommended

Superb location, absolutely peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of Auckland, great to wake up with the sound of sheep and birds.

Very cute bus, done out very nicely, bed was very comfortable, and full size bathroom facilities, nice and cosy. Considering we picked one of the worst weekends to getaway, with torrential rain, lightning and thunder that didn’t stop us enjoying Evi, she was very comfortable indeed, was actually nice to listen to the rain pelt down, not so much the rumbling thunder, and we did manage to dodge the rain to use the BBQ in the evening. Would benefit from having a small oven and two burner portable hob, couldn’t get the one on the bus to work, but most likely user error. Would have been lovely to enjoy the outside area but that weather certainly didn’t play ball. But nevertheless was a very enjoyable two nights, the hosts as well such an awesome couple, very informative throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil setting and total peace and quiet Evi is the one. Bruno the dog was very cool, super friendly little chap. Always there with a wagging tail to greet you.

Quirky and comfortable accommodation, the school bus is well maintained and the setting was so peaceful and private. The owners were lovely and friendly. It was great that we could bring our dog too.

We loved our stay at Evi the school bus. The accommodation is unique and comfortable and the garden area is lovely. The hosts and their beautiful dog are so welcoming and kind, made us feel right at home. It was a peaceful relaxing stay, we wish we had booked for longer.

Fun and different place to stay

Great location and very cool to stay in a bus that is really well set out and has everything you need. Loads of privacy and very good parking. I had a trailer and there was plenty of room.

A few bugs but hey it's out in a field so it was to be expected
