The serene setting, the pretty decor of cabin, the freindly host, peaceful and quiet , star and moon gazing, the easy 10 minute drive on sealed roads to town and my friends home !

Should have been better

The parking are as the area is massive. Location is quote enough but not too isolated.

The cabin was dusty. Our allergies flared out and it lasted for a few days. The sheets, pillow case, pillows and carpets don't smell fresh or clean. It might have been washed but some washing machines specially if old can't clean enough. Also, its hard to use the toilet especially if you want to pee and you can no longer hold it as someone is using it. There is only 1 toilet and washer for all the cabins. That was our siuation the while time we stayed there.

Serene and tranquil

The hosts were very good helpful and friendly making our stay warm and welcoming. Ian was very polite providing all necessities we required. The chalets were very nice clean and tidy. The pool was a great added bonus which we also thoroughly enjoyed. The location was easy to find and very tranquil surroundings we would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was quiet and picturesque, it was so pleasant to sit on the front deck and have a couple of drinks.

THE most perfect stay

We can’t fault the stay and the incredible & kind hosts Jo and Ian. So comfortable, on beautiful grounds and Ian and Jo went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, make recommendations and help us out as much as possible. Facilities are perfect. It being a little bit rural isn’t an issue because having a hire car / set of wheels is a must in and around the Bay of Islands anyway - close to Kerikeri, Paihia, and other top spots. Such good value for money and felt like a home away from home. We would recommend Cozy Cabins to anyone!

Fantastic! We wanted a relaxing, easy and cozy short getaway and we got exactly that!

The location was less than 15 minutes to Keri Keri which is where we spent a lot of our time. The location was so quiet, warm, calm and peaceful when we went back to cozy cabins to spend the evenings. Jo and Ian where the most lovely and welcoming people, I could not speak more highly of them and they where so helpful with checking in, giving us recommendations of places to eat and see and they told us multiple times to take our time checking out which was a really nice offer. The cabin was warm, equipped with a big enough bed and lots of extra blankets, they prepared a mini water cooler for us and where always available to fill it up for us when it ran low. The bathroom was so clean, big and close to the cabins. I really couldn't fault it :)

Highly recommend !

We were lucky that we got the place as there were only one cabin available and we got it! The cabin is so lovely, super clean and quiet. If you plan to visit the Matauri Bay, we highly recommend this place as it takes just 20 mins to the bay. Thanks Ian, Jo and your cutie pets for the lovely welcome us
